Upstairs rooms have a balcony, but only a few are private (due to doubling as a route to other rooms) whereas most downstairs rooms have French windows onto the car park. We visited this motel just 10 days ago and found it to be a clean, pleasant place to stay and were happy to have found it for our nights stay in Nelson. It was very convenient to all shops and restraurants and the reception staff were helpful and friendly. Would not hesitate to stay there again if in Nelson N.Z. more

We arrived in Nelson and just booked one of the first motels we passed. There was a cute little balcony off the room which would have been great for drinking some wine, had the weather been nicer, but it was rather chilly when we arrived. The motel served its purpose, comfortable and clean. more
