4 of 5 stars Reviewed today NEW

We stayed a night at Warwick House and it was a different kind of place to stay. It is grand old heritage house that has obviously been restored at some stage. We had a double room outside towards the front of the building. The room including bathroom was lovely, clean and comfortable. We didn't eat breakfast as it was not... More

The initial impression of this old period styled house is positive with its unusual architecture and large ballroom used as the dining room. Our booking was made for us by the travel agent and we were happy with the choice. Our little private room at the front was interesting and use of the term eclectic is appropriate and while it... Nick was a great host and provided us with a lite/healthy breakfast. The rooms are clean and spacious though a better mattress and pillows would make for a better all around experience. nonetheless, an overall good stay on a historic property.

Dear Guest, Thankyou for your feedback. I'm glad you found Warwick House interesting as it is one of the oldest grand heritage buildings in New Zealand built in 1854 by one of Nelson's leading businessmen. It is difficult to know how best to describe our accommodation stlye as all our rooms are different and have different price levels. Our upstairs suites are... The Warwick house was very easy to find with our GPS. The area was very quiet for sleeping but just a short walk to the town center. The owners were very helpful and welcoming. Breakfast was excellent. Our weather was very nice and it was fun to sit out on upper deck watching the sunset with a glass of wine.

I stayed in this historic and charming house only one night (I wish it had been more). I felt cared for, and was very comfortable in my lovely room. All the amenities were perfect, and I loved sleeping in a quiet little neighborhood with the window open. The location was great: close enough to downtown, but with a nice walk... More

Warwick House is certainly an interesting and historic building and it is located within a comfortable walk to cafes , but its description as a "luxury boutique hotel" is misleading. The standard room and shared kitchen were tired and the bed was particularly uncomfortable. The bed linen was of a poor quality. The walls between rooms were thin and we... More

We stayed in Warwick House ( Bayview Suite) for four nights. It's a pleasant walk into town ( around 15 minutes) and our room was very large, comfortable and quiet . The house is a real homage to the Victorian era, and beautifully decorated and furnished. Good breakfasts in the sprung wood floored ballroom that doubles as the dining room.... More

Located on a hill 20 minutes walk from the town centre this historic and architecturally individual accommodation is for the discerning. The beautiful family ballroom is the scene for great freshly prepared breakfasts. Our bedroom was up the exterior stairs past the veranda on the ground floor and a large terrace on the first floor into a landing decorated in... More

Although the owners were nice and helpful, the place itself is not my cup of tea. We were in a small room on our first night this smelt musty, was dark and had no wifi signal, we were then moved to a larger (upgraded) room the next morning which was a mishmash of furniture, curtains that did not fit the... Dear recent guests, Thankyou for your feedback. May I suggest when you are booking with an online site to look at the room size and description when you book. You had booked our smallest room. This room does have a kingsize bed, leather sofa and wingchair for your comfort and a private entrance. We were able to offer you a room upgrade... More

We stayed in the Victoria Suite at Warwick House. The entire house is this majestic historical building which has been restored with love and care.
