We checked into this hotel for two nights after several days spent camping, and were very pleased with our room. It was small, but immaculate and well laid out (kitchenette, bathroom etc) and was newly refurbished which was very nice also. The only thing missing was soap. Avoid this motor inn at all costs....we visited the motel 9 days before our stay to inspect the rooms and selected a new unit for a 4 night stay at $130 per night. On our arrival we were allocated an old, tired unit...badly chipped bath , mould around shower and clearly inferior to that we had booked and were told... more

This place is a bit out of town, about a 15 minute walk (Nelson is Tiny anyway!) The rooms are OK, there is a separate kitchen if you ask for it. also guest laundry and a restaurant of sorts.
