Shelbourne Villa is a great location from which to explore the town of Nelson. Rooms are homely and well presented, and the owners are very helpful in giving advice on the area. Breakfast is a delight with a new item being freshly prepared each day. Would highly recommend this B&B. more

Wayne and Val have a real gem of a place here. This was our second visit and we intend to return again. This place really highlighted the value of seeing good recomendations on here as I don't think I would have found it otherwise. We stayed in 'the loft' which was superb. The room had its own living area and large balcony with stunning views. Loved everything about the place. more

We visited the Shelbourne three years go, and Val and Wayne were just as hospitable this time as they were the last. Lovely place, lovely rooms, very convenient to downtown Nelson (Even close enough to roll a wheelchair).
