This is our second four week trip to New Zealand in two years. Each time, as with many people, we have travelled to a new place every one or two nights. We are experienced international travellers. We arrived at 7pm and Daniel had kindly put the heater on in the villa and made us a reservation for dinner.....the place was lovely, although it was dark outside so we couldn't see the surroundings. Breakfast in the homestead was lovely - the muesli fantastic! We didn't want to leave. We left for two nights and returned for out... more

Just back from a five week tour of New Zealand - Bronte Lodge was the best of all the fifteen hotels/lodges/motels etc. we stopped at. Its position is remarkable with magnificent views over the estuary. The accommodation is luxury in every sense and the breakfast was magnificent. more
