We arrived at 7pm and Daniel had kindly put the heater on in the villa and made us a reservation for dinner.....the place was lovely, although it was dark outside so we couldn't see the surroundings. Just back from a five week tour of New Zealand - Bronte Lodge was the best of all the fifteen hotels/lodges/motels etc. we stopped at. Its position is remarkable with magnificent views over the estuary. The accommodation is luxury in every sense and the breakfast was magnificent. more
