I stayed a Te Puna Wai while I attended a conference in Nelson. I had checked it out on its website and knew it looked good but I was even more impressed when I actually arrived. The house itself is beautiful and warm and seeps with character. The views from just about anywhere in the house are amazing. It being spring, there were flowering trees and plants everywhere and yet across the water you can see snow covered mountains. Fantastic! The rooms are large and comfortable; service friendly, helpful and responsive. Thanks to host James and Richard for a fantastic stay. more

Without doubt this was THE best place we have stayed at in our trip to date in NZ. The accommodation was fantastic and is clearly the result of a passion for detail and quaility. Our room had great views to the sea. I only wish we had more time to spend in Nelson and would have no hesitation in recomending this. Enjoy!!
