We stayed in the Kina Suite, the largest of the rooms available at Almyra, and our expectations were fully met. Contemporary facilities to a high standard, a warm welcome from our hosts Ron and Fiona, and excellent views from the property. Could do with air con in the bedroom but their is a good ceiling fan. We had such a great stay at Almyra! It was perfectly located for our Abel Tasman kayaking and hiking trip. Almyra is a very good location to explore the northern tip of the south island. Rather than moving around, we opted to stay at Almyra for a few nights. The Te Kina suite has a very comfortable bed, spacious bathroom and a separate lounge/kitchen area. This allowed us flexibility to eat in and make our own lunch for our hiking... More

Perfect location, luxury house with a fantastic architecture. Beautiful design. Apart of the accomodation the host family is brilliant. You feel comfortable in a private atmosphere.
