Arrived into Auckland really late and got the free shuttle to hotel. We arrived at hotel about 1am and asked if there was anything to eat, not surprisingly everything was closed. The shuttle bus driver did however take us to a fast food takeaway and we returned 30 mins later with some provisions. The rooms are basic, we had a... more

I stayed here for 1 night following a flight back from Cook Islands to Auckland and before heading out to Brisbane. I only chose to stay at the hotel as it was 1 night and I didn't want to pay for transport into Auckland, oh how I wish I had. We arrived at approximately 9pm and the bar and restaurant... more

I stayed at the Kiwi International Airport Hotel just one night, to catch my flight the following day from Auckland to Keri Keri. I chose it according to the good reviews I found on Tripadvisor : something like good affordable hotel with no frills. Well, first of all, the staff is not friendly at all and not very helpful. Second,... more

Really as can be expected for a cheap airport hotel. Be prepared to carry your own bags up the stairs to the room - no one will offer you help. The rooms were clean and the games room was nice. The restaurant was below average. Signs indicated restaurant was open until 930pm however when we entered at 830pm we were... more

We stayed here at the end of a year travelling around the world so were pretty used to basic accommodation, this however was pretty awful. The room smelt of smoke and there were makeup stains on the pillows. There were signs everywhere stating not to leave valuables in the room... The staff wern't much better, and were pretty rude infact.... more

I stayed here as I arrived back into New Zealand too late to catch the domestic flight home so had to stay around the airport for the night. This hotel is near to the airport and unlike some other airport hotels nearby it has a 24-hour free shuttle service to and from the airport. The facilities are basic but adequate... more

I stayed in this quite depressing hotel for three nights in January 2008. I arrived at the hotel on a sunday morning straight from the airport after a gruelling 21 hour flight from the UK. I found the reception staff quite miserable and unhelpful. The room was not as clean as it should have been but I would not go... more

Sounds like things haven't improved since we stayed overnight with our son and his young family on our way north to celebrate my parents wedding anniversary. Our young ones had flown in the day after us from Oz so we met them and decided the break in travel would be good for the grandchildren. I booked and had confirmed all... more

If you love hair in the plug holes, mould seeping through the ceiling, coating the shower curtain and walls, spider webs hanging from the ceiling, the vents,in cupboards, peeling wallpaper on the walls,chipped/cracked paint,a bed from the sixties, bad TV reception,a scratched and filthy cistern (like it had been wiped too much and had its coating dissolved). The garlic bread is far too dare for what... more

We flew in from Tahiti and stayed at this pre-booked (by our travel agent as part of a fly/cruise deal) hotel for one night before catching our flight to Brisbane. We have done extensive travelling world-wide and have never stayed in such a disgusting hotel (I use the word "hotel" loosely!!). In Australia, this business would not be allowed to... more
