My girlfriend and i traveled the great ocean road and this was our last stop we booked a budget chalet, upon arrival we walked into reception to check in and met a lovely lady Roxy I think, we got chatting and she was really nice and to our surprise she said she would upgrade us seeing as we had been... A large group of us were working in Portland for a week.We decided to stay at the Portland holiday Village. We stayed in all the available accommodation from the smaller, older cabin (adequate for 2 people max) to the large two bedroom family cabin. My advice is if you can afford to pay a few extra dollars then try and stay in... The staff at this place were exceptional, very accommodating, the cabins we stayed in were some of the newer ones the park has, and they were fantastic for cabins. There is a kids play area, a bbq area, all kept very clean and tidy.

Perfectly situated in the heart of Portland and close to everything I was disappointed with the actual cabin - it was definitely not the nice example shown on the website. Torn curtains, ripped linoleum on the floor, rusty towel and shower rails and ripped fly screen door, not to mention miss-matched utensils (the electric fry pan lid didn't fit because... More

After travelling around NSW, SA and Victoria for almost 3 months with our caravan, we decided to call into Portland on our way back to Melbourne. Avoiding the large commercial parks, we found Portland Holiday Village. The park is set back behind a large old building, and can be a little hard to find. We were welcomed by the friendly... More

We stayed for a week, driving over 200kms to have a new experience in a vacation. The accommodations were superb, the distance to locations was really just walking distance. And we timed it perfectly for the festival that was happening in the week, along with a public holiday. We would come back to this again to re-live the experience of... More

we stayed here for one night instead of moving on to the next destination as we were too tired. We had a basic cabin..very comfortable and the bed was great. The shower was lovely. It was so quiet one would not know the location was in the centre of town across the road from a Super IGA. We will be... More

Lovely quiet park, friendly. Perfect for my ASD son. Great location. Loved the camp kitchen and playground. Cabin was cosy and well equipped perfect for us. A real little secret hideaway hidden just off the Main Street. We will definately be back!

This is, in short a terrific place. I was greeted by a lovely lady called Ronnie, She was friendly, professional, cheery and gave me plenty of tips on where the local supermarkets, pubs and restaurants are. Your a gem Ronnie, there should be more like you! I'm staying in a newer 2 bedroom cabin which is spacious, clean and very... More

Firstly, GREAT service!!! This place is in a great location. easy access to everything. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The only thing I found wrong is the cabins need some TLC. Little things that go a long way to the overall experience. I will be back!! and hopefully the light in the bathroom is fixed. :-)
