I was charged 27$ for me, my tent and my bicycle - which is more than for a bunk bed in a backpacker hostel. Apart from the hot shower and laundry facilities which I did not need - ther was was not much more. No kitchen with gas cookers, toaster and water boiler, just a barbecue stand which was useless... Very helpful reception staff. Lovely, clean grassed caravan area with a koala wandering about. The amenities block was very clean and just like new. The park is located within easy few minutes walking distance of the town centre. We had a site on the southern side of the park, had great views over the harbour.

We had a cabin for the week we were here the kids loved the idea of the trio bunks, they provided us with plenty of room for our 4x4 and boat which was great as the boat is recently new so we didnt want it too far out of our site, we had some naughty blank ants visit our cabin... More

This park provides twisted information and is very good at economically telling the truth. First of all the location of the park: please add there is absolutely no view. When you peak over the fence all you see is a loud, smelly harbour loading ships 24 hours a day. This means you hear the wharff at night!! The so called... More

Hello and thank you for your feedback on your stay at Portland Bay Holiday Park. Portland is renowned for many things, including its waterfront activity. You can view big ships from around the world come in to load up local produce and the local fishing fleet unload its catch. You can take a ride on the foreshore cable tram, spot... More

We had a great week at PBHP,we were on a caravannig holiday and loved the big, shady sites; each was private and all were separated by lovely native gardens and had lush grass and/ or good concrete pads. The amenities were clean, modern and well maintained and there is a great playground for children. The Portland tourist tram passes the... More

I stayed at the Portland Bay Holiday Park for a night in August of this year, in a standard cabin. As mentioned by other reviewers, the park itself is undergoing improvements - however I can only see this as a good thing! The most important feature of any great caravan park is friendly service - and Portland definitely have that... More

The double bed was the worst bed we had slept in. Not goo if your a tallish person over 6 foot tall. Close to beach. Very clean rooms. Friendly staff. Close to shops. There's a town tram that runs through Main Street that runs outside the front of the caravan park. They are currently doing works to the caravan park... More

This caravan park is in a great location overlooking the sea, the port and has a big park adjoining it. The staff are very nice as well. The problem was that they are in a rebuilding stage, resculpting the sites, sowing grass etc and these areas are taped off which makes the place look like a building site. I hope... More
