We had a great stay. We drove from Melbourne to Perth and stayed here our first night. Great food, Butter Chicken, and great accommodation. Friendly staff, and not bad prices. We would stay again if we ever are back in that area.

Budget room for $110, which was still expensive for the quality of the room. Smelled bad, disgusting decor, rug fabric for headboard. The worst hotel room I have spent the night in. Would have gone elsewhere except arrived late after 500k drive. Could hardly sleep in the room since aircon flowed directly to the bed and was unpleasant, but too... More

great place to stay if your in the transport industry and require mandatory day off as their is plenty of room to put heavy vehicles in the adjacent lot. Great Indian restaurant and bar located at the front of the premises. Upgrade to the executive for the extra $20 as they are more modern and only 100m walk from the... More

Very large complex - approximately 80 rooms looking out over the Port Augusta Gold Course. Rooms were comfortable although the bathroom could do with a little updating. We were there on a Sunday so the restaurant was not open as is the case in a lot of motels throughout the country. It was interesting watching all the rabbits running around... More

A stinking hot day, over 42 degress when I rode in and decided some comfort is best and I am very glad I chose the Standpipe. Had a room next to the golf course and bush, oodles of different animals wandering around and theh the room I prefer to spend a bit more money and have some comfort after a... More

We pulled in pretty late. reasonably priced. The room was well appointed, we really liked the fact that there was a toaster, microwave and kettle. Our air conditioner failed to operate and we were quickly appointed another room. This is probably one of the better accommodation choices in the area. Staff were friendly and helpful, definitely recommend for the weary traveler.

I absolutely love staying here. The rooms are clean, the staff are super friendly and the food....AMAZING!!! The curries are authentic and absolutely delicious! They really need to write a cookbook. I love this place and will keep going back.

If you need to stay in Pt Augusta this is the place to stay. Rooms are clean but not fancy, but it's away from town and is much better than many other motels in town. The restaurant is great, friendly service and great menu for both dinner and breakfast. Recommend the big breakfast for a paleo feast! Ok wine list,... More

We stayed here on our way through to Perth. The rooms are clean and comfortable but very outdated. Bed and bedding are ok, tv was on a box close to the floor....odd. Bathroom was clean. Tea/coffee sachets and tiny little motel cups. This motel is quite a way out of town but that's ok if you want just a meal... More
