I was so surprised at how great this caravan park was. I was going to stay at the Big 4 but Shoreline was way cheaper and really quiet with great views. The bathroom and toilets are super clean and modern and the service affable. I would recommend shoreline to anyone passing through Port Augusta for sure.

Stayed for one night but would recommend. The guy at reception was extremely helpful. Camp kitchen is old but more than adequate for cooking a meal out of the cold. Plenty of accommodation options available. Amenities were new and clean. Great value for money.

We had a powered tent site for two nights and apart from the ground being very compacted (it was a gravel site), the site was fine. The amenities were clean and the camp kitchen was adequate. The drawback of this park was the incredible wind that howled through it. I don't know if it's always like this or if we... More

We camped our caravan on a shoreline site, which is the pick. We stayed here as you can have a dog. There is a security fence between you and the beach but it is not hard to access. At night you can hear the comforting sound of goods trains in the marshalling yard, which is on the other side of... More

We chose a budget cabin with ensuite . It was the same we stayed in 1998. Good price. $60 for two. Old, very basic, a touch shabby, bed ok. Had kitchen facilities. A/c a bit noisy. Well insulated as we did not hear the neighbours on both side. Caravan park is by the water.

We stopped here twice ..coming and going to/from Coober Pedy. Average accommodation at a reasonable price. The room was clean and neat but things like a screen door falling off its hinge indicated a little more TLC needed. It was nice and quiet and the laundry was excellent big and spacious and good value too. Mother nature did the drying... More

Good value, when compared to the other park in Port Augusta. Friendly helpful staff. Quiet, relatively speaking. No passing traffic, again unlike the other park. Easy walk to a supermarket and hotel. Nice little pool.

Last time we were through here we stayed at the other big caravan park but found it too noisy. This time we stayed at Shoreline away from all the road noise and had a lovely relaxing time. The railway line is just across the Spencer Gulf and you can hear the dull rumble of trains that puts you to sleep.... More

We nearly changed our mind on stay here due to other reviews however it's the only park that allows dogs, and glad we did, bathrooms are modern and clean, follow campers lovely and the dog loved having room to run on the beach(past reviews torn apart the 'beach access' it's only a 1min walk out the front gate!) and cheap,... We spent 2 Nights here. The buildings may be outdated but that adds character to the place and think of all the stories they could tell. The cabin we stayed in was clean and comfy. The Park is only a short hop over the bridge from the City Centre and is right on the Shore of the Gulf with a... More
