We booked in for two nights and got the best rate by emailing them and asking. $165 per night. Lovely facilitiies - good indian place next door. The rooms were big and bright and very comfortable. Highly recommend this place, would definitely stay here again. Pillows were a bit hard but hey, i'm fussy. more

My wife and I stayed here for our 1 year anniversary / delayed honeymoon. We booked into one of the 2 penthouses and were not disappointed. I arranged with the hotel to have some roses and champers put in my room ready for our arrival and it was there waiting for us. We also had the penthouse with a lovely... more

We stayed at the Allegra for two nights in September 2008 as part of our honeymoon. We had booked a one day tour to Fraser Island and wanted a place to stay on the mainland. We were amazed at the size of our apartment. It was a 2 bedroom (although the second bedroom was locked as there were only 2... more

The allegra is a great place to stay. Can't recommend highly enough. The managers are pleasant and always willing to help. Everything is spotless, being new that makes it easier. We had a two bedroom third floor apartment towards the back. Once again, a better view would have been good, but for the price, that was fine. The apartments are... more

Our family of four recently stayed at the Allegra Hervey Bay. We chose the hotel because it seemed to have luxurious new facilities and a quiet, direct beach front location. We had a two bedroom penthouse apartment. The furnishings are new and very stylish. Upstairs, we had a rooftop spa bath and bbq area. The apartments are fully self contained,... more

We stayed for two nights on 18 and 19 October 2008. This place is less than a year old and is well appointed. It is situated directly across the road from the beach. No resorts are directly on the beach except for the camping grounds or those at the marina. We stayed in the cheapest option a one bedroom ocean... more

My friends and I stayed at the Allegra two bedroom penthouse apartment for three nights. It was really really good. We had a private spa on our exclusive rooftop and a bbq. We also had about a 180degree view of the ocean across us and surroundings up on the roof. There was secure parking for us to park our motor... more

Just stepped out of a 3 night stay at the Allegra. Very satisfactory accommodation on the Esplanade at Torquay. We booked the cheapest rate (no views), although most of the view was of the back of the neighbouring property we did have what estate agents would call "water glimpses". But if you want a water view, you pay extra. While... more

Hotel: Was faultless and truly excellent. Could have stayed forever. The furnishings are stunning and so much better than home. Located just across from the beach which you never have to fight for space, it is so big. The pool is fantastic and I really enjoyed swimming and relaxing by the pool on the lounges. Location: The bay is just... more

I surprised by girlfriend by sending us to Hervey Bay and also staying at Allegra. At first the dates that I wanted to book Allegra was booked out and I was choosing between Allegra and some other accommodation (some self containing house which looked pretty good) but I wanted to check our Allegra because it looked new and I was... more
