We stayed here camping for one night. The facilities were good and the place was beautiful as described in the others reviews. Wi-fi worked okay. There is breakfast for 6 AUD, which was good. Some points that decreased our rating: no hairdryers, no lite milk (in the breakfast). We stayed too short to take notes about other stuff.

Stayed in a double room for 1 night. Very cheap at $58per night. Double bed with bunk above(no bed above) and fan, light etc. Excellent facilities with pool, spa, darts, ping pong, pool table and beautiful grounds with lots of animals! Peacocks, ducks, turtles, chooks, geese you name it! Very fun to feed some bread:) Only issue we had was the hiring of the pots for the camp kitchen... More

Didn't have the best nights ever here. I had a room to myself which was nice but sadly enough I couldn't sleep because the curtain didn't cover the door and everyone could see in at all times and the rooms were ridiculously humid as there was no air con. The staff was really friendly though so that gives the place... More

TL;DR: Room was not clean and the staff were unprofessional ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Pros: Easy to find. Cabin had TV, Refrigerator, table with 6 chairs. Cons: Cockroach was found in bedroom. Clean sheets were NOT provided. Cabin had Not been cleaned. When we complained to the receptionist, clean sheets and towels were then given to us- We expected this to have been... More

Gorgeous grounds with amazing staff who do anything and everything they can to help. The bistro is really cheap with really tasty good quality food. Animals everywhere! So many ducks, different breeds of ducks too, peacocks, guinea fowl, chickens! Lovely pool area and huge tennis and basketball courts. Not like a hostel at all, more like a resort! It is... More

The colonial village is absolutely beautiful! We were totally shocked (in a good way!) when we got there, the place is huge, gorgeous pool, beautiful grounds, very reasonably priced bar and food and lots of animals everywhere! There are also no bunks in this hostel, which we loved! It makes the rooms feel much more spacious and as a traveller... More

Stayed here for 1 night after returning from Fraser Island. Hostel was clean and quiet. Free wifi in the bar area which was good. Good reasonably priced and you could also pay a little extra for breakfast. Rooms were basic but comfortable. Would stay again if I was in the area!

We stayed here for one night after touring fraser island. The room was basic but really clean..had a great night sleep as the bed was comfortable and the hostel itself is quiet. The food in the bar was tasty and reasonably priced. This hostel is by far one of the cleanest we have stayed in on the east coast.

I stayed for a weekend with my partner and our 4month old in a self contained cabin and it was clean and modern. The staff were good and friendly. The atmosphere was great with all the different travellers around; the peacocks were the cherries on top. :-)

Free wifi in the reception and restaurant. Bathroom facilites looked quite old but were clean and worked. Really cheap and good food in the restaurant. Outside there's a lake with ducks and other birds, really beautiful. Our double room was quite small and there was not much space for the luggage but it was clean. There's a free shuttle service...
