My boyfriend and I stayed here for 1 night after returning from Fraser Island. We booked a 'budget double' room which only cost £31 through hotels.com - so to be fair we were not expecting a great amount from this place. To list the positives first, there is free parking and the food in their bistro was very nice and... More

We stayed here the night before and after our Fraser Island tour. We booked a private room and we really enjoyed it. Would totally stay here again. It has a nice outdoor feeling to it with birds running outside and the team at reception was really nice and were very helpful Only downfall was the internet didn't work.

The problem with this resort is all their adds say they have a Hot Tub,..... Now I could not find one that was at least slightly warm, The beds were too old and needed replacing , It seemed to me they have gone a little down hill from 2 years ago when the place was booming .. Sad to say... More

This is a real review and is written to help you the traveller to decide. Recently we booked for a room through booking.com As we looked for many places to stay we decided to book at the Colonial Village , at Hervey Bay Qld. It was a Saturday night with our little family of 3, we decided to book a... More

Booked a twin room was very cheap for the Easter Long Weekend. Had two beds and ceiling fan. Great for sleeping curtains blocked out all sunlight. Had a share kitchen and bathroom. Kitchen and Bathroom were very tidy and clean. Did have a bistro but we did not eat there. Very close to the beach just about a 100 metre... More

This is a mediam scale hostel. The rooms are good but not great. The kitchen is clean and enough space to cook. We slept in a double room, it was very small and hot. Overall the whole place was abit messy. Also the dining area closes around 9.30. This is abit early. There is free wifi and free PC's to... More

This hostel was in my opinion very horrible. The only thing this hostel was thinking about was their bistro. If you wanted to play a pool game with your friends, or play ping pong, you could not bring your own drinks. you had to buy a coke at the bistro. Which is a lot of money for just backpackers. Besides... More

Whether you are going up or down the East Coast of Australia, there comes a point where you need to be somewhere that isn't full on partying, drinking and about 40C whilst in bed. this place is perfect for a little recooperation and TLC. The rooms are cool, the facilities are good and the family friendly atmosphere generated by the... More

We stayed here camping for one night. The facilities were good and the place was beautiful as described in the others reviews. Wi-fi worked okay. There is breakfast for 6 AUD, which was good. Some points that decreased our rating: no hairdryers, no lite milk (in the breakfast). We stayed too short to take notes about other stuff.

Stayed in a double room for 1 night. Very cheap at $58per night. Double bed with bunk above(no bed above) and fan, light etc. Excellent facilities with pool, spa, darts, ping pong, pool table and beautiful grounds with lots of animals! Peacocks, ducks, turtles, chooks, geese you name it! Very fun to feed some bread:) Only issue we had was the hiring of the pots for the camp kitchen... More
