We have been there several times for lunch. Good meals, good service and reasonable prices. the place is a bit dated but feels comfortable, without all the glitz of other venues. Staff are always friendly. I understand that they can be very busy at evening meal times, so a booking would be wise.

Just been for dinner at the Hervey Bay Hotel. Arrive early or else you will not get a table. I had a veal parma, it was ok for the price. My husband had bangers and mash - he didn't complain. The special of pay for the most expensive meal is across the whole menu which makes a nice change. No... More

At $90 a night I didn't expect a "resort". Our room had been repainted and carpeted, but the bathroom is 1980's all the way. The room was very clean but the buildings need some TLC. Un-manned is unprofessional, especially when rooms aren't serviced daily. Position is ok, but some signage would be nice to direct guests to the hotel for... More

The room was a bit old and tired but comfortable enough. The pool was very nice but don't ask for a towel for the pool unless you are prepared to pay for it. That is expected as the room is very cheap especially if you opt for a non-serviced room. The pub that is behind the motel rooms has great... More

Hmm, not sure 'resort' should be included in the name of this place. We stayed for one night. The whole place is very outdated, however we weren't expecting a great deal more with what we were paying to stay there. The carpets in the room and lobby area were shocking. *The big problem was the noise*. All night/morning, right through... More

Spent 5 nights here in January with my son. comfortable, spacious room with new tv and fox sports. Room had been recently painted, lovely views of bay, great pool. Good location with shopping centre 10min walk, beach across road, free waterpark for kids 5min walk. Building is old but the facilities are good with aircon, ceiling fan, bath in bathroom.... More

I had the unfortunate ‘pleasure’ of staying ONE night… arrived approximately 4pm after a busy working day combined with travelling. No one was on the reception desk, I used the phone indicated TWICE and waited 25 minutes for someone to come. The reception is musty and unclean, I certainly didn’t like the first impression and it only went downhill from... More

Scrap the world resort, proper description would be motel. The carpet was filthy and not vacuumed properly and stained and worn badly. The sheets for the beds barely covered the mattresses. They had the thinnest crappest mattress protector I’d ever seen. The pillow had lumps in them. You literally had to hit the pillow to shape it comfortably around your... More

For $80 we were impressed with the size of the room. There were two cane armchairs, the varnish of which was quite worn. The bathroom was tiny, with the shower over the bath. The carpets need replacing in the lobby and corridors as they are threadbare and grubby..However, the carpet in our room was in better condition. In our bathroom... More
