I stayed here for 2 nights, either side of our trip to Frazer island. We had a dorm room for 6 people, but there was only 2 of us in it! The bunkbeds were very comfy, communal kitchens and bathrooms clean and tidy, receptionists very helpful. I wasnt sure how safe the lockers were, but we left our bags there... more
Only stayed in this hostel for 2 nights either side of a trip to Fraser Island. Fraser Island is amazing and a trip there is a must but I would not recommend this hostel. Ugh, gross. Palace Backpackers is quite possibly the worst place that we have ever stayed. It was disgusting and has absolutely nothing going for it. It claims to be the newest hostel in Hervey Bay – this is pretty much a plain lie. Maybe the management has changed, but if so, all they have done is take over a grotty... more
