I stayed here for 2 nights in march 2007. I had a private room which was well worth the money. The hostel was lovely, very clean, fab kitchen and the staff were extremely nice and helpful. I would def recommend this place as somewhere to stay in Hervey Bay and I would def stay here again it was fab. more

This place is more like a home than a hostel. Choices of room styles, the maximum with three beds in it - no bunks at all! And the owners live up to their hostel's name. This hostel was a favorite. Very clean, attractive, inexpensive, and the staff gave me rides to and from the station for free. I left my eyeglasses behind, and the mangager or owner made sure I got them - she mailed them to me in the US! I was very impressed and grateful. more
