This hotel has plenty of parking and can accomodate large vehicles like a motor home. It is located close to shops and attractions, being only a couple of minutes walk to the beach and to the large stocklands shopping centre. The staff were friendly and the room was clean. Good budget motel!

Stayed as a family in December 2014. The room was very clean and the kids loved the pool. The bed was very comfortable and the linen clean. Not having much knowledge about things to do in the area the lady on reception was very helpful and knowledgeable. She went out of her way to help us coordinate our activities. We... More

Stayed here the night before we left for Fraser Island. We stayed in room 5 which was very spacious and clean. Same for the bathroom. The lady at the reception desk was very friendly and helpful when we asked for directions to a decent restaurant. As we had an early pick up we could not have breakfast, but it can... More

Worst accommodation we have ever stayed in anywhere in the World - quite simply horrendous. Wifi didn't work, the woman on the desk kept giving different excuses for this so we wasted an hour and a half trying to access it - even though she clearly knew that the WIFI didn't work. She even lied by saying it was a... More

First of all - it seems this motel is now called the Econo Lodge, no longer the Comfort Inn. Clean room, exactly what you expect for the price, although the room that my fiancé and I were in seemed to have issues with the plumbing - there were very loud noises in the walls and ceiling which were quite disconcerting.... Good location and closed to a Shopping Mall. On-Site manager was very helpful and had a good area knowledge. Its a good accommodation option if you are on tight budget and want something close to all the basic amenities.

First, it is important to know what Hervey Bay is mostly about: a gateway to Fraser Island. Hervey Bay itself is a small town with an unimpressive beach (by Australian standards). Nothing wrong with staying there before moving on the the island, or using it for a day trip to the island (HIGHLY recommended). The Comfort Inn is on Main... More

After traveling from Cairns to Brisbane, our third stop was this motel, a two night respite. The motel was dirty, the air conditioner overly noisy, and the shower weak. But worse of all, after returning from a full day tour of Fraser Island, the room was untouched. Dirty coffee cups, no beds made, towels arranged or straightened, wastebaskets emptied, absolutely... Good morning Motorrader, Firstly I would like to thank you for your review on Trip Advisor as I am very familiar with the conversation that I had with your wife. Your wife came to see me after a long day on Fraser Island and I understand that she was feeling tired which may have explained her temperament at the time.... More

Stayed in room 2. Very spacious room and bathroom that were clean and well maintained. The price was quite reasonable. Central location. Reception guy friendly and helpful. Nothing at all to fault with this place at all.

Excellent property in the heart of Hervey Bay, Craig, Ruby and his team have done an excellent job with this property, clean and very friendly staff. Craig having lived in the area for some time has lots of local knowledge not just about Hervey Bay but also Fraser Island. The resturant 'Frasers on Main" has a different buffet each night... More
