Perfect location for Hervey Bay for a good price. Walk across the road and you're at gorgeous Scarness Beach. Foodstore, restaurants, coffee shops within 5 mins' walk. The accommodation is basic but clean and has everything you need (unless you need luxury). The managers are friendly and keep the grounds, including the lovely pool, immaculately. Only downside for us: the... More

I stayed at the Kingfisher Court and received very friendly service. I booked one night prior to visiting Fraser Island and another night after my return from Fraser Island. The owners very kindly allowing me to leave my car in their car park behind the hotel. They were very helpful filling me in on the best places to eat and... More

We have stayed in hotels in different parts of the world and in Aus and it is the first time we have been asked to vaccum and take out the rubbish or be charged a cleaning fee. The people running the place could only sit outside the office and smoke. The place is very old and needs refurbishing, not worth... More

I accept the hotel was old and a budget hotel but it didn't have to be grubby - and it was... Hotel owners sat and smoked and drank coffee on the porch and then asked guests to vacuum and empty bins before they leave - it makes you wonder what the did. The refrigerator could have walked out on its... More

No better place to stay in Hervey Bay. Great loaction with everything withineasy walking distance. Directly opposite the beach, with a great pool when the ocean is not good. Apartments are roomy and clean, and represent excellent value for money. The managers could not do enough to help, and we very friendly and welcoming. I will definitely stay again, and would... More

Ok it's old, but our place was clean and tidy and had everything we needed for a family of 4, in fact for the price your not going to get better, great location, fully equipped and clean and tidy, ok it's not the mantra, but your not paying for it either, I'd stay there again with pleasure.

We had a great stay here with a few friends. It is budget accommodation so don't expect it to be 5 star but everything worked and we found the owners to be very friendly and helpful. Location was great being central to everything and handy to the beach. If coming back through Hervey Bay we would stay here again. The... More

My friend and I travelled to Hervey Bay from Sydney for the Hervey Bay 100 Triathlon and were lucky enough to pick the Kingfisher Court for our accomodation. We paid a budget price but were presented with accomodation that far exceeded our expectations. For us the location was perfect, in the middle of town, across the road from the beach... More

Whilst the building is older the rooms are clean, neat, and well appointed with everything needed for self catering and relaxing. Undercover parking is provided and the staff are friendly and prepared to go out of their way to ensure your stay is enjoyable. There would be no better option in Hervey Bay for price and location being just across... More
