My wife and I visited Hervey Bay recently as our first camping trip. We decided to stay on an Ensuite site for two nights. Usually these are for caravans, but we were able to pitch our tent beside the annex pad. When we first arrived, the staff said that if the site they had chosen was not suitable, find one... More

We booked into the Happy Wanderer for the long weekend. We stayed in a cabin which had its own little outdoor seating area at the back of it. It was a nice clean unit and had everything that we needed in it. Ours was air conditioned which I think is imperative to have specially in summer time as Hervey Bay... More

Spent 3 nights camping here in not so good weather. Campsite quiet at night. Camp kitchen & dining area very clean & tidy. Pool a bit cold. Spa bit cold too. We had site with en-suite which was so handy. Camp site toilet & shower block very clean & I used it a couple of times. A place I would... More

Booked into here for two nights on our way back to Brisbane after being up the Townsville. We had a lovely large drive through grassed site...plenty of room and lovely surroundings..lots of palm trees so there's lots of shade..The amenities are very clean and well appointed..loved the extra touches like a shower curtain, bathroom caddy in the shower with plenty... Hi Carollee, I’m disappointed you were not satisfied with the Studio accommodation you booked; yes we do have a cheaper range in accommodation, our Budget cabin range introduced in March 2014 is self catering also cheaper but it does not include linen as being budget you bring your own or hire linen. I’m at a loss to understand why you... More

Stayed here in a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom lux modern cabin. Quiet, next to the lake, nice outlook with lots of bird life. Fully self contained, reverse cycle air con. Outside deck with table & chairs (6), next to BBQ. Quite an upmarket caravan park. A change from an apartment holiday, staff helpful, tour desk. Walk to beach, shops

We recently stayed in one of the cabins and it was very relaxing and refreshing. It was quiet although there were other cabins around us. Very clean and great value for money. I am in a wheelchair and found this accommodation most suitable for my needs.

In August 2012, we were staying at happy wanderer village. All I can say is that we had a good stay. We travelled with greyhound tours and we arrived at 09.00 a.m. We were allready able to check in and got a cup of coffee. The ownership and staff are very kind. We rent some bikes. I can highly recommend... More
