We stayed because of all the great reviews and we were not disappointed. Laying in bed and the only noise you hear is wildlife. Traffic noise is non existent. Feeding the ducks and other birds every morning and night is so relaxing. The cabin was clean and everything supplied. Air con was not noisy and worked well. Great shower pressure... More

So glad we booked to stay here. It made up for Hevery Bay. Quiet private cabins overlooking the lake. Lots of lovey birds to feed. Bird food available for a small donation . The cabin was clean and spacious. Kitchen well equiped. Everything you needed nearby. Jason was very helpful. Would highly recommend.

Very nice cabins by the lake. Not new, but very well maintained and clean. The beds were really good. We had a great time, sitting on the balcony, looking at the lovely view and the birds. We also had a fun BBQ meal as the cabin's kitchen is fully equipped. Owner was very nice and helpful.

I wasn't expecting much for $80/ night but this place surpassed our expectations. Clean, airy and comfortable villas very close to everything in Hervey Bay. It's fun feeding the ducks and waking to birdsong. Management was super friendly. They just sold the place and new owners take over on 3 November. Hopefully they'll provide the same level of service. The adverts are true! Lovely lakes, lovely turtles, eels, birds and chalets. Difficult to find fault really. A unique place in Aus with great owners and you just have to sit and watch the turtles on the huge lake form your balcony! Very relaxing.

We stayed here for 3 nights; good value cabins clean and comfortable. The cabin we stayed at overlooked a small lake. The retreat is very quiet and peaceful, even though it is only about 5 minute walk to the beach and local restaurants and shops.

I stayed here for a week in September and really enjoyed my stay. The owners were friendly and helpful. I paid $79 per night for my cabin (through Wotif), overlooking the lake. The cabin had a queen size and single beds, wardrobe, iron and ironing board, chest of drawers, table and chairs, a kitchen with microwave, utensils, fridge and sink.... More

We stayed here for 2 nights but could have happily stayed longer. Great value too (we paid $90 per night). The place consists of a number of separate cabins which overlook a lake populated by local wildlife - ducks, swans, turtles etc. Special food is available should you wish to feed the wildlife - a nice experiece. Staff were friendly... More
