Stayed here for two nights at the end of March. Very nice owner! Really liked the location, because it was on a nice quiet residential street and convenient to park in the lot and walk down to center of town. The Bella Vista motels are a chain across NZ. Practically identical from one motel to the next so you know what you are getting. Very reasonable price at around $100. Modern & spotless room. Only negatives 10/15 minute walk out of the small town of Kaikoura up a steep hill and room on the small side more
