Great looking old farmhouse on the ocean with a continental breakfast that is more like a full breakfast. Very nice host and hostess, clean and cozy room. Be sure to take in the sheep shearing - it's well worth it. Short ride to town. Easy-to-find location.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Point. Its a warm and welcoming home and Gwenda and Peter are very hospitable. Our room overlooked the rear gardens which are lovely as are all the gardens and the views from the front veranda are amazing overlooking the ocean and mountain range. Our room was cozy and very comfortable and the bathroom... More

We stayed in this quiet, nice B & B for 2 nights. There are 2 rooms one in the front overlooking the sea and ours at the back overlooking the garden. Our bathroom and bedroom are spacious, clean and bright. The B & B is out of town, 5 - 10 minutes by car and 1 hour on foot. There... More

Stayed in rear bedroom - very tired and poor toiletries supplied, wooden toilet seat.. Cat sleeping on the bed on arrival - very bad if you are allergic to cats. Not a purpose built B and B so family members and others are present - not very relaxing environment. For the money very over-priced and certainly not 4 stars! Not... More

We stayed at the Point for 2 nights and did all the local activities during this time. Gwenda and Peter were gracious host and made us feel very comfortable and welcome. The house was cozy and had a home feel to it. We did so many activities that the rest was well needed and deserved. They have something special here... More

We enjoyed a 2 night stay in this lovely home with the best sea and mountain views you could wish for. Room was clean, warm, newly decorated and well appointed. Hosts Gwenda and Peter were gracious and welcoming - breakfast was basic but enjoyable and shared with other guests - we were made to feel very welcome. The hi light... More

This B&B is quite out of town but with beautiful views and very quiet. Family issues meant that the lounge wasn't able to be used as the fire wasn't lit so it was cold. The room was OK with a comfortable bed. It was very clean and had a nice bathroom. Breakfast was basic but presented with care from Peter... More

We had a lovely stay in the point BnB. Gwenda is an excellent hostess, who had the heating already on in our room when we arrived. It's a beautiful house in a stunning location. The room is well decorated and very cosy. We had the most beautiful view of sunrise from our breakfast table. Gwenda was very accommodating with our... More

Peter and Gwenda were gracious hosts. The Point B&B was beautiful. The room was incredibly cozy and clean. There was a nice lounge for the guests to enjoy. Gwneda fixed a tasty but basic breakfast, and we enjoyed admiring her art throughout the house. We enjoyed the sheep shearing show. We ate dinner at The Pier, a local restaurant recommended... More

We can't praise this B&B or its owners Peter & Gwenda enough. A true welcome and a B&B that is a model for what the rest of the world should copy as a home from home. Neat & tidy, clean and friendly this is a home that invites you to stay. A lovely house on the beach road out of... More
