A great motel, the rooms are big, warm and clean. Every time I stay here the owners are very friendly and helpful. I had to make a call late the last time due to work issues and by rearranging their plans, I was given a great room, with everything ready for me. Wifi available is a bonus to do the... More

Six of us where in Kaikoura for a family Wedding. We had a two bedroom unit and a studio unit. When booking I asked if we could have an early check-in to get changed for an early afternoon start. This was no problem at all. In fact on arrival we were asked if we would like to be dropped off... More

This was a great little place at a value, with thoughtful, helpful management, to boot! We checked in (no reservation) and were given good dining advice. We started a load of laundry knowing the laundry room would be closed when we returned from dinner and that we would need to deal with it in the a.m.. The manager put our... More

We stayed here for three nights, and for us it was perfect. The room was large and comfortable with good kitchen and decent shower room. It's not the very best view in Kaikoura but we could still see mountains and the sea, and it's a good 20 minute walk from the town centre. But right over the road is the... More

This is a basic motel, at a basic price. It's OK. The rooms aren't particularly modern, but they are at least warm, large and comfortable. It's not really easy walking distance from the centre of Kaikoura. The only major irritation is wifi that requires you to stand outside in the car park...

Our overnight in beautiful Kaikoura was more memorable due to our stay @ Admiral Court. Welcoming owners, spacious, well appointed and warm (important that night) studio. The appalling weather was offset by a great seafood dinner @ nearby historic hotel. Within walking distance .. even better.

We arrived late(ish), to a sign posted on the reception door which said “[My name], Sorry I and not hear to meet and greet you. Your unit is 3 downstairs. Your key, wi-fi and milk is in the room. Call me on 0800 xxx xxx if you have any problems. Otherwise see you in the morning. Thank you, Karla”. There’s... More

We had stayed at this motel about four years ago and were happy to stay again on this occasion. It is a little way out of the centre of the town - we walked it once but it is a bit of a hike. The room we were in had sea and mountain views and it was beautiful to wake... More
