A quick overnighter at Kaikoura, on our way to Queenstown. Nice basic room, with a comfortable bed. Kitchenette, wifi, comfy lounge, and an onsite laundry close to the room. Eateries within a close walking distance. Friendly helpful staff. Recommended.

We stayed here just one night, but it was a great experience. The owner was very helpful in recommending local restaurants, and the view from our room was lovely. It's a little out of the center of things, but the location close to a nearby seal sanctuary is very convenient, and the sunset and sunrise views were beautiful . The... More

Having arrived late in the day after a big day of travel, we were greeted warmly by the owner who offered to make a dinner reservation for us at one of the two restaurants within walking distance. We could see the sea from our room. The room was basic but very clean, spacious and comfortable. The motel is located away... More

This is a perfect place in Kaikoura. Located just by the Green Dolphin Restaurant and the Pier Hotel it is in a brilliant location. We had fantastic dinners in both. Combine this with very friendly service at the motel, a well appointed room - very clean and tidy - and at the best end of town. Minutes drive away from... More

Admiral Court Motel at the southern end of Kaikorua, NZ, is run by Karla, a charming and genuinely helpful member of mankind--the type of rare persons you want to meet on your travels. She provides the best possible service, with a glimpse in her eye. You can park your car two meters from the door to your room and you... More

This is a great motel located a little way out of the town and hence is a peaceful and quiet place to stay, but the town is easily accessible. We had a superb two bedroom apartment. The unit was equipped with everything we needed. It was immaculately cleaned and very comfortable. There was a little balcony area with a lovely... More

A great motel, the rooms are big, warm and clean. Every time I stay here the owners are very friendly and helpful. I had to make a call late the last time due to work issues and by rearranging their plans, I was given a great room, with everything ready for me. Wifi available is a bonus to do the... More

Six of us where in Kaikoura for a family Wedding. We had a two bedroom unit and a studio unit. When booking I asked if we could have an early check-in to get changed for an early afternoon start. This was no problem at all. In fact on arrival we were asked if we would like to be dropped off... More

This was a great little place at a value, with thoughtful, helpful management, to boot! We checked in (no reservation) and were given good dining advice. We started a load of laundry knowing the laundry room would be closed when we returned from dinner and that we would need to deal with it in the a.m.. The manager put our... More

We stayed here for three nights, and for us it was perfect. The room was large and comfortable with good kitchen and decent shower room. It's not the very best view in Kaikoura but we could still see mountains and the sea, and it's a good 20 minute walk from the town centre. But right over the road is the... More
