We stayed as a couple in a beach front chalet for the weekend. Very comfortable, clean, well presented accommodation. Very comfortable large bed, room was well equipped and the location superb. Nice walk into town either down the beach or along the road. Very quiet with just the sound of the waves out to sea. Highly recommend.

Stayed two nights in a beach front chalet. Attractively situated a very short walk from the beach and had the sound of the sea to sleep to. Log cabin appearance inside with every comfort. Good heating, lighting and shower. Internet allowance is generous compared to other places but inclined to be slow... I understand Hokitika is not generally blessed with... More

We stayed here for one night and would have liked to stay longer. Our cabin was cosy, clean and comfortable, with everything provided that we could need. Location was good, a short stroll through the site and we were on the beach; a quick walk across the main road and we were in the glow worm dell (which was well... More

We stayed in the camp ground part of this accommodation for four nights in April. We had a look at the other available camps in Hokitika and found this one best suited the family with space for the children to play and ride their bikes around safely. The sites are designed for campervans and we had a caravan with awning... More

My husband and I stayed here when it first opened and returned recently with friends. Much more around it now (farm animals included, houses), but the glowworm grotto lives on across the street, and it's still a nice location. Host was super friendly and helpful regarding dining options. Room was a bit tired but clean and comfortable.

Friendly little place. We stayed in beach front bungalows which are duplexes built to look like log homes. Comfortable rooms, great price, easy parking, and full kitchenette. Drawbacks: and I'm being picky. First they are kind enough to have gas grills on site, only they could be more accessible. Second, no screen on the sliding doors. Finally you have to... More

We spent a night here in a campervan and enjoyed it. Clean facilities, very close to the beach and a farm with goats, pigs and llamas which the kids loved (especially Peckles the goat). Glow worm caves are across the road if you feel like sight-seeing after dark. It was just a km into town and the front desk was... More

I stayed here for 1 night with my husband in March on a powered site. The pitch I stayed on was right opposite the toilet and kitchen block which were both clean and the showers were hot and free to use. There is a short walk to the beach which is beautiful and around a 15 minute stroll along the... More

Spent two nights. Staff warm & welcoming. Room was a little tired but the beds were comfy. No real view of the ocean and noise from adjoining unit tainted the experience. Only a short walk to very impressive beach with huge rollers pounding in.

We had just completed the Wilderness biking trail so felt like a little bit of pampering and this was just the spot. We had a chalet near the ocean with a spa bath to soak away the aches and pains. The unit was roomy, clean and very comfortable. We were able to hear the waves crashing on the beach during the... More
