What a fantastic place- firstly walked in a bit late for check in, only for the keys at the reception to be labelled with my name on them all ready and waiting. They really thought about this! Entered the accommodation into an African decorated haven- it was exquisite! Like a hotel not a hostel- I wish I would have stayed... More

This was just what my son and I needed on a chill out weekend after a stressful week. From the moment we were picked up with the coutesy car, till we left we always felt welcolme. The bedrooms had a heater that was on when we arrived, the kitchen was a loverly big size, and the lounge with a wood... More

Stayed in a four share room. The reception was very friendly and gave us the usual walk through with the map. He even gave me a new wifi slip when I lost my original one. Showers and toilets were good, though we had to climb up a flight of stairs to access them. Common room was nice and warm and... More

The bedrooms are clean and comfortable , the free kayak is a bonus. A great kitchen with good facilities, the owners are friendly and laid back. It's nice to find such a nice hostel in a town which has suffered so much in recent years.

The nicest hostel we stayed at during our trip. The owner was friendly and knowledgeable and kept a very clean and well organised hostel. The kitchen was by a long way the best we cooked in. Very reasonably priced too. The decor is African and the rooms have quite a homely feel to them. Showers and toilets cleaned thoroughly everyday.... More

Loved the decor of this establishment. We had 2 nights here and loved it. It felt like a home away from home. Everything was amazingly clean, from bathrooms to the very well equipped kitchen. Free tea and coffee. Kitchen has a balcony with outside eating area and BBQ. Our room had lovely views towards the coast. Garden was beautiful and... More

When you first arrive you are impressed by the big collection of african, asian and aboriginal art you find in this place. It really does give the place good vibes. Furthermore, the owners are really friendly and helpful with all kind of things. The place is well maintained. It's a great place to stay.

Stayed 3 nights in global village in a tent in the garden. So no comments about the rooms. But I really did appreciate the clean and warm bathroom and showers, the well equipped kitchen that it's finally big enough for the amount of people that can stay in the backpackers, and the very cosy livingroom where I hung out a...
