Only stayed by chance as friends had already checked in. Arrived in the dark so took a while to find our site, which ended up being conveniently close to the facilities (great showers btw!) Typical West Coast storm in the night meant we woke up in a puddle - not sure what can be done about drainage in this part... More

We are pleased the you enjoyed your stay, even though you didn't chose it (your friends did). We have had a few great electrical storms recently and with the amount of rain the park does fill up with water very quickly, but as we are on sand it drains away just as quickly, but sometimes this does mean wet feet!... As it was quiet my partner and i were able to chose our own spot, which was nice and separated from other camping spots with trees and hedges. The kitchen, toilet and shower facilities were adequate. The free spa pool was a great extra, which we made the most of. Having free internet for the entire stay is also a... More

Thanks for your review. At this time of year we like people to be able to chose their own site. It's good that you had the opportunity to use the spa as it is a great way to finish the day. We are also happy that you took advantage of the free unlimited WIFI. More

Pretty great little spot, and good for my large-sized group of friends as we stayed in here. Good facilities. However, there was only one plug socket in the room which we struggled to share between six of us.

Thanks for sending through a review and sharing with us that you enjoyed your stay. The cabins do have a couple of plugs. Sorry if this was not enough for 6 people, but a cabin only has so much power that we can use at once. The self-contained units have more, if you decide to stay again. More

One night in a cabin for 2. Large cabin old fashioned but clean. Fridge and table with chairs inside and outside. Kitchen and facilities clean but kitchen very small. Free jacuzzi (too late for us). Free wifi. Holiday Park not perfect but I put 5 stars for the free wifi, too rare in New Zealand.

Thanks for your review. We are not brand new, or a large park, but we strive to keep it clean and tidy. We offer free unlimited WIFI as this is something that people are wanting and we are pleased that you were happy with this. The addition or the free BBQ's and spa pool also seem to be quite popular.... More

We stayed two nights that had been pre booked, and would have stayed a third night had it not been for the unfriendly woman on the front desk. We have mixed reviews about this place. The room we had suited our needs. Plus side: comfortable beds, and best shower of anywhere I have stayed. Over all it was very clean,... More

Stayed here in a camper for couple of night and found it to be a very friendly campsite with excellent facilities. The pitches were flat and fairly well spaced, all in easy reach of the kitchen etc. The WiFi was good and don't forget to have dip in the indoor hot tub. Recommended

I just returned from a great trip to New Zealand and we stayed two nights in the Greymouth Kiwi Holiday Park on our journey down the West Coast. This was our first stay in such a campground and we didn't really know what to expect. It is close to downtown Greymouth and very close to the beach. You just walk... More

Nice camp with good facilities, the kitchen was well equipped, the toilets and showers were of average standard with plenty of hot water. Not a lot of large sites. The location is within easy walking distance to the beach and a few kms out of town. This camp is better value for money than the other Greymouth camp.

Thanks for taking the time to send in a review and finding us reasonably priced. We are an older park and we do not have a lot of large sites (we have a couple of sites that can take 9 metre vehicles). Linda More

Staff were very helpful and our open-dated voucher was accepted with no problems. The shared kitchen facilities were a bit small and being hogged by a group of young backpackers the night we stayed and one of the young lads kept hogging the sandwich maker being oblivious to everyone waiting. The toilets were clean and tidy. The walk along the... More

Thanks for your review and hearing that you enjoyed your stay, except for the queue for the sandwich maker. Unfortunately we cannot supervise the guests and make them share, or at least consider other people. Life would be great if we could. Linda More

We booked very last minute (not a problem) and three generations shared a motel unit. It was spotlessly clean and contained everything we needed (hair dryer for daughter, wine glass for me, comfy couch for Granny). The beds were all very comfortable and we had a great night's sleep. There is no noise allowed after 10pm which was great as... More
