Stayed here 3 days in the lovely town of Wanganui. (only came for 1 night on our way to Wellington but we were tempted by the accommodation and the town!) The 1 bedroom unit was spotlessly clean, beautifully appointed and well serviced, in a quiet location at the back of the complex. Within walking distance of town, riverboat, tower etc.... more

I was really impressed by this motel. My one bedroom apartment (room 12) was enormous and had a lovely huge spa bath, and every little detail had been taken care of. It was spotlessly clean, and would have put many a 5 star hotel to shame, with fresh towels and toiletries every day. My unit had a large lounge with... more

Our 8 Year old Son and I were fortunate enough to be able to go Wanganui with my husband who was working there for a few days last week ! We stayed at the Riverview Motel, for 6 nights, and it was a really nice Motel. There are older Units there, we were put into one one of the new... more

We've just stayed in a hidden gem in Wanganui. The main motel building is quite old and tired but the 5 suites down the back of the motel itself are a little haven of peace and quiet, especially Unit 1 that is tucked in at the back of the main building.
