From the moment you pull into the drive you can tell you have arrived at a special place. The units are extremely appealing with a 'Swiss lodge' look about them. Greeted warmly and upon entering our room there was that 'wow' factor feeling. They are clean, modern and attractive. Well set out with all you should need during your stay.... More

We stayed in this 'truly idyllic location' from January 17th-20th. The apartment was spotless, and the quality of the bedding was superb. The staff and owners of the property were very friendly and I would definitely recommend staying here. In addition to the regular room facilities there was also barbecue, and laundry available (of which I did have time to... More

.....motel in an incredibly beautiful setting. The rooms are bright and airy with stunning views. Ours had a very well equipped kitchenette with microwave and fridge and was just perfect for preparing light meals and snacks. The accommodation was kept spotlessly clean by several lovely ladies who were always chatty and cheerful. Our hosts were wonderful, warm, friendly and a... More

Absolutely loved this place. Our chalet was clean and comfortable, with personal touches. The gardens are beautifully cared for and everything is looked after with love. A fantastic location with very friendly and helpful owners. Loved listening to the birds in the morning.

Please refer to the site Booking.com for the full review. It is ideally positioned, north on the coastal highway out of Thames, not far to travel to the various activities in the Coromandel. It is an architerally designed building with pleasing surroundings. We had a studio unit with the bedroom separated with a partician, a larger unit for being studio.... More

This was one of the first stops in our journey from the North to the South of New Zealand. Beautifully appointed place owned and run by a charming US/NZ couple. We stayed in the first chalet to the right . Enjoyed beautiful sun sets and amazing garden. Thank you for your hospitality!

Chosen on a drive-by but clearly superior to the competition, we enjoyed our stay and relied heavily on our host's advice about exploring the peninsular. Our first floor cabin gave great sea views and was very cosy. Slight reservation - our bathroom was very clean but looking a bit dated. Apparently plans for change are in the works.

We drove past late on a Friday night and we decided to stay a night on the way up to Corromandel Town. Amazingly friendly owners and staff. The cat was friendly too. :-) A lovely unit, with a nice view, quiet peaceful setting. We'd stay again.

Top marks for this motel. Owners could not be more helpful when our booked accommodation was not up to scratch. Facilities in the chalet accommodation were superb quality and the general decor and cleanliness of the highest standards. Recommend the upstairs chalets as most have a view of the bay.

A great place to spend some time on your way or longer. Very clean and cozy rooms. Especially the ones upstairs. We had the first lodge with big window for a perfect view of sunsets. Extremely welcomming staff, helpfull tips for exploring the neighbourhoods. Fully recommend.
