Stayed there for a few days in town, the room was very clean if a bit small, with a desk to work on but lacking a table and two chairs to have a meal. Service was overall good and welcoming, even if our clothes suffered from a broken dryier (the overall laundry, with only one washing machine for the whole... More

This is the second time we have stayed here. We stayed for 5 nights in a unit with a private outside spa. The villas are well laid out. It was great in the spa looking up at the stars on a very clear night. We enjoyed our time there and the staff were very helpful. However the unit that we... More

Stayed here for a business trip after my usual accommodation was fully booked. It was extremely dated and to be honest just needs a good clean and renovation. Lovely staff and if it was updated, it would be a great place to stay. A little further out of The Square but still an ok location. The walls are paper thin... More

have stayed here a few times, always get a good rate ,we have a spa unit. Plenty of room ,but the units are looking a little tired. Wall heaters don't work. Yes there is a portable one ,but take the faulty ones out, much better than them not working. Also try and get nana to make her cookies agin for the guests!!!

We only stayed here for one night and that was too much! The kids actually begged us to find other accommodation. The Spiral unit we stayed in looked nothing like the pictures. It was dirty, with mildew on the net curtains, a dirty kitchen floor and a stove that had certainly seen better days. The overall feel was one of... More

We recently spent 3 nights at the Villas. The room was a spiral unit which looked nothing like the picture on their site. The people here were wonderful but the place is very old and dated. Light bulbs were blown and not replaced. Paint worn away, stove old and dirty, shower head broken. This place has great bones and with... More

The first time I stayed here (about 3years ago) I arrived late (about 7pm) and they gave me a really good rate ($90 per night). I travel to palmerston nth approx. 2-3 times per year and each time I stay the rate is the same. The last two times I have received a free upgrade to a room with separate... More

We had the misfortune to stay here for a school sporting week. The first walk in the door when it was dusk showed no light bulbs going in the kitchen, none going in the (dangerous?) spiral staircase and no center light bulb in the bedroom. The gentleman in the office, who was covering for the owner who had gone away,... More

I am devastated to receive this review as I believe that we are a very good option for sporting teams. We provide barrels for hot and colds if needed, team uniform washing and I thought all (but clearly not) teams appreciate the set-up of the rooms. We have extra dishes and cooking gear at reception to be used on request.... More

Greeted by a very friendly lady at reception and upgraded to a spa suite. She was making shortbread and gave us some when it was cooked. Huge room and huge bed. Free wifi which was a real bonus and a free newspaper. Plenty of pillows on the bed. After a spa in the evening we collapsed into bed and slept... More

Very disappointed this was meant to be an executive suite not a budget one......the sofa bed was very uncomfortable with only two sheets and a wool blanket which had obviously shrunk in the wash!! extra bedding in the blanket box comprised of one pillow with a stained pillow protector and duvet of sorts. The extra bed (minus a wheel)came ready... More
