Stayed here for two nights, mid week in early July. We had the Merlot room. That has high ceilings and panelled walls. The bedroom was fairly small with no wardrobe space beyond a place where one could use a few coat hangers. There was reverse cycle air con that proved useful during the cool nights. The en suite bathroom was... More

This antique hotel/B&B is situated right off the main road into Margaret River. It is a neat & eclectic place built pre 1900 yet has modern bathrooms. The rooms are smaller but sufficient and have a few common rooms nearby. Breakfast is included and is served in the well regarded La Scarpetta restaurant located in front of the complex.

This accommodation is located just over the bridge as one enters Margaret River - walking distance to town, and is one of the oldest properties in Margaret River. Our room was the Champagne Room on the top level and it was indeed very cosy and nicely renovated to reflect the era in which it was built. Breakfast was included in... More

We stayed in the cabin, 3 adults, this was a charming free standing cottage. Well equipped kitchen, dinning table, 1queen bed and one single, with a bathroom. This also has a patio. Breakfast was included in the price, and was good. This is a very beautiful motel, close to shops.

This company owns 3 properties on adjoining sites and there is only one reception for all. I booked a ground floor room at the Admiral Stirling, but arrived to discover my room was up a very steep flight of steps. The only groundfloor rooms available were in Bridgefield. I was told this room was normally dearer, but I could have... More

To be fair there should be a rating between Average and Very Good. This is one of the old original guest houses in Margaret River. It has been well renovated by the owners and a lot of saved timbers have been used in various areas. The rooms run off a corridor and most have large ensuites with toilet and shower.... More

We stayed at BGH whilst in MR for the Gourmet Escape. We only needed somewhere to shower and sleep and BGH looks reasonable and was a good price. From the outside, it's a very quaint, traditional looking establishment surrounded by nice greenery. When we arrived, we had to go across the road to check-in; a minor annoyance but nothing more... Quaint , old fashioned . Bad lighting , leaky taps , unreliable water temperature in shower. Confusion with booking , moved once , then nearly again before kitchen tap was repaired. We were not offered the breakfast that was inclusive of the price... Expensive for what it was... Would rather pay a bit extra & stay elsewhere .

I loved my stay in the Merlot room, which is full of warm wood and a bit apart from other rooms in the Guest House. I enjoyed six nights, where I made use of a semi-private lounge, private patio, and kitchenette. A walk of a couple of blocks took me into a large public forest with many trails. I also... More

Lovely heritage style guesthouse. Stayed in Champagne Room which was cosy and luxurious, with a delicious bottle of sparkling waiting in the fridge! Saved it until the spa bath was warm and bubbly. Plus complementary breakfast.
