Room is very cosy and have electrical warmer install on the bed. However, bed is too soft for us. The wall is thin as well as we could hear footsteps outside our room. Free wifi and good English breakfast. Reception is at another guest house which we were felt confused in the first place.

Our room was clean and our bed was comfortable, but we were in the front room, with lots of road noise, and the restaurant. We were not shown to our room, and only later discovered a map on the back of our information sheet, after we had asked for help. Tea and coffee facilities in the courtyard wasn't really suitable... Stayed two nights in room 1 which was just a standard room. Room is a bit quirky with lots of wood paneling and even the ensuite has dark wooden floorboards. Unlike most B&Bs you don't meet the owners and are just left to find your own way to your room. There is a lounge area where you can watch TV... More

Bridgefield guest house is a heritage listed building located within easy walking distance to many restaurants, bush walking tracks and Margaret River town centre. It was spotlessly clean with an olde world ambiance. Initially we thought all the rooms included a TV and tea making facilities however, discovered some have shared facilities in a hallway. Following a long weekend holiday we... More

We loved visiting the Bridgefield guest house, it was perfect for a quiet couple of nights away from the heat of Perth and provided a great base to explore the delights of Margaret River. The Guest house is an older style of accommodation and the decor and furniture have been well chosen to suit the property. A highlight is the... More

Two days stay in Margaret River in the magnificent champagne room of the Bridgefield Guest House was a very comfortable and elegant stay. A recommendation by fellow trip advisors was right on the money, pay a little extra for this lovely historical room, red wood and old world charm makes a romantic environment to stay in. Margaret River itself has... More

Stunning place with lots of character and friendly staff. As we were two couples we had whole old part for our use. Main lounge with wood burner, ground floor room with patio and 1st floor room with balcony. Breakfast cooked to order in restaurant next door and served by lovely staff. Plenty of vineyards around make stay even more special.

After staying a modern hotels on our trip to Far East and Oz it is a change to stay here,an old Australian house ,small rooms a Victorian feel.Very nice in its own way. The large roll top bath was great after weeks of showers( there is a separate shower) Nice big comfy bed and loads of towels ect. The best... More

We found our stay at the Bridgefield Guest House to be relaxing and enjoyable. It was located in a great spot, close to the eateries and local vineyards. Even though it was close to the Bussel Highway we had no problems with traffic noise and the breakfast next door at the La Scarpetta Trattoria in the morning was perfect -... More

Booked last minute and flyer quoted recent renovation, air con , courtyard and tea making ..... The room for shabby and out dated ... I suppose the quote of 'unique ' in the flyer could encompass this ? The air con was in an adjoining room , the tea making was communal and the courtyard was brick floored and very... More
