Booked last minute and flyer quoted recent renovation, air con , courtyard and tea making ..... The room for shabby and out dated ... I suppose the quote of 'unique ' in the flyer could encompass this ? The air con was in an adjoining room , the tea making was communal and the courtyard was brick floored and very... More

We stayed in the Cabin. Great place to stay when visiting this chilled area. Breakfast in La Scarpetta was yummy. Strolling up the main street was a pleasure. Being right next to the river was a bonus.

We stayed in the Champagne room for 2 nights. The room is big with a jacuzzi bath, large shower comfy bed and a great balcony to have an evening glass of wine. The staff were very friendly. We had breakfast in a restaurant adjacent to our building which again was great! Would definitely stay here again.

A place of history with some original pieces around . Stays there for one night : room was ok certainly non traditional : bed was comfi . The only downside was the breakfast that was served from 8am , and I needed to pay extra for coffee and for jam !!! It really would be better if they added couple... More

Had a few days with friends at Margaret River this month and were delighted that we chose to stay at the Bridgefield Guest House. The location is perfect only a few mins walk into town, the ambience and décor is simply superb!!! Beautiful old world charm at every glance, and two lovely guest areas with open fires to snuggle up... More

This quaint looking old character building is very appealing from the outside but inside it is dark, cluttered and the rooms are very small. The voices and footsteps from adjoining rooms and outside hallway carries through the thin walls. On top of this there was a constant noise from some motor outside our window as well as renovations being carried... More

My partner and I stayed here last week on a quick trip from Perth. From the outside this place is a charming, beautiful old building bursting with character but as a place to stay it fails massively. Upon arrival we checked into our rooms which were nothing more than a glorified hostel, we were expecting a far higher standard considering... More

I'm sorry you were not forewarned about the maintenance work at Bridgefield. This was an oversight at reception. Any noise is to be strictly restricted from 11 am to 5 pm. Or to be stopped at any time on request by guests. As to your reference to Bridgefield being is glorified hostel. The place is a heritage listed cottage built... More

We stayed three nights in the cabin at Bridgefield. It was cozy, but with enough space to spread out and relax. Extremely comfortable, tidy and clean, with a cute little courtyard for us to use, it was a really lovely and romantic environment. Breakfast included was a nice bonus, staff were very friendly and helpful, and we were one street... More

We are happy that you enjoyed your stay with us. The 'Cabin" is one of our quaintest rooms at Bridgefield . Thank you for your great comments and feedback. We look forward to seeing you next time. More

Beautiful setting and full of character, but the walls are thin allowing noise from next door. The most annoying was the commercial dryer continually going till late in the evening and commencing early in the morning
