There are three accommodation places in this complex - some with breakfast and some without. The complex sold itself as being in the centre of Margaret River - realistically, it was a good walk into town on unlit roads with no pavements or via even darker back alleys. When we stayed there, the lady at reception was lovely, very welcoming... More

We stayed in the Governors Quarters for two nights before a family wedding. The accommodation is an easy walk into the Main Street of Margaret River. The Governors Quarters sleeps 8, with 2 bathrooms so there was plenty of room for 5 of us. We really enjoyed the relaxed feel of the accommodation, which is set amongst gum trees. The... More

Margaret river is lovely and well worth a visit when in WA. This hotel was great value booked online in advance. The hotel itself is a little dis-jointed with the main reception located at a nearby hotel. There is a communal kitchen area which is lovely, full of nautical artifacts and an outside area to congregate in the evening. Unfortunately,... More

Rooms are a decent size, good shower and bed was comfy enough. Access to communal kitchen facilities, with all crockery and cooking equipment. Free (albeit intermittent) WIFI is a plus. Biggest negative was the quantity of mosquito-like flies in the room (and judging by the stains on the walls, we weren't the first to experience this problem).

I stayed here for three nights as a base to explore Margaret River. I was in a little two-bedroom apartment with a bathroom, kitchenette and verandah. The rooms were dark and a little dusty in places, but quiet and I got a good night's sleep. The location was convenient, just a short walk to the main strip of restaurants and... More

Stayed last weekend at the Admiral Stirling Inn. What a quirky but delightful place. It took quite a while to find it and then to find Reception but once that was taken care of, it was quite delightful. It was nice to stay somewhere a bit different. The rooms (6 & 7 on the Bridge) were small but the beds... More

This past weekend, we have finally managed to grab a couple of nights at the Admiral Stirling Inn. My partner has stayed previously and couldn't say enough about the place. The naval theme is quirky and pleasantly presented, the rooms are well appointed and the courtyard offers a charm all of its own. It is perfectly located in its own... More

The concept of the Admiral Stirling is great - themed accommodation centred around different ranks of the Navy and it works well with the Admirals quarters having some quite nice fittings. So there is naturally an expectation that these quarters would be of a certain standard - sadly our accommodation was not - it appeared as if it had not... More

I literally just got back from staying at the admiral inn, in the Captains Quarters for 3 nights and to be honest I didnt want to come back! The inn was such a charming quaint place that I will be recommending it to my family and friends. I have stayed at Bridgefield a few times and this is my first... More
