I stayed here while on a business trip, very happy with the value for money. Being I had not been to Margaret River in maybe 10 years this truly captured the earthy homeliness I had always loved about Margaret River. The rooms were very clean, showers were great ! much better than my home in Perth. The beds were very... More

Great value with kitchenette, parking, BBQ and comfy beds. Decor is not fancy, but functional, clean and cozy. Great option if staying over as a family or two couples. Our unit had two bedrooms, one with queen bed, the other with double bed and a bunkbed. Saved heaps by cooking our own dinners and breakfasts. Lovely stay, would return!

We arrived at the station house, courtesy of some dingbat motel, who emphatically told us all the accommodation in town was all full and only had a few rooms left....at a higher price than we thought was appropriate! So a quick tour of the internet found the Station House. On first impressions, it looks like a run down ranch style... More

Stayed overnight whilst passing through Margaret River after having booked on line. First impressions were that some improvement work may have been started around the gardens, but it looked as if it might have stalled some time ago. The office/reception area was really very dusty and the carpet had not been vacuumed recently. There was a BBQ supplied near the... More

Thanks to Ross and the family for taking in a couple of stray kiwis for the night. This gem of a spot close to the centre of town provides a quiet base with easy access to the surrounding attractions. Ross knows his way around and gives a good Roo tour for easily amused kiwis and has a few local marsupials... More

As you can imagine, accomodation is not cheap in this wine district. I thought that the modest price may mean an average stay but it was actually quite good. We stayed in a one bedroom cottage ('chalet' is a bit grand - they are just simple brick and wood construction). Bed comfortable. TV tiny. Towels fluffy. Shower was hot but... More

The place was clean, cosy and owners were very kind and helpful. Laundry and cooking facilities available. Our chalet had a heater, a double deck bed, a double bed, a small fridge and came with simple cooking and laundry facilities. Ample car park space.

Owner greeted us with a little gift (lollies) for the girls, made sure we were settled in and knew where everything was in the town for supplies etc. Comfortable accommodation, bunk beds were a bit lumpy etc but to be expected for the style of accommodation, and the kids didn't seem to notice. We had been asked at booking if... More

The room was ok but the bunk bed/lounge was very noisy and the top bunk was held together with a bent spoon...literally. The fire alarm was disconnected, there was a BBQ with no lighter or matches and the shower was a bit crappy.

I just came back from staying here for two nights with my mum. We had booked a family double, but when we arrived, the lady at the reception told us that she had put us in a bigger room, and showed us to one of the spa apartments, which had a full kitchen, a bunk bed and two queens -... More
