We stopped here to have a meal while visiting Bunbury. Even though we walked in almost three minutes before the kitchen closes for lunch, we were still served with a smile and good cheer. We ordered two Fishermans Baskets, generously portioned with the usual condiments of lemon wedges and tartare sauce. The fish was fresh and cooked to perfection. No... More

Wonderful place with huge breakfasts. There’s a bottle store in the yard – not that you’ll need it because it’s got a pub in the hotel and is right in the town center so you can walk a couple of minutes to restaurants and cafés. The rooms were comfy too

We stayed for one night in a Double room for A$129. The main building of the hotel has a lot of charm, being a restored heritage building. Our room was in a block out the back (thankfully away from the drive through bottle shop attached to the hotel) and while it was clean and the bathroom was quite new, it... More

The Rose Hotel downtown Bunbury dates back to 1865. More modern buildings have been added over the time, but the lobby still oozes of history and the olden days. Stepping into the reception area takes you right back to the 1920-30s. Fantastic! Our room in the added annex in the courtyard was absolutely fine. Furniture and bed was all kept... More

Food was excellent. Staff were friendly and helpful. This is why we gave it a three. The room.....Blanket on the bed had holes. Pillow case missing from one of the pillows. Blanket was changed to one slightly better! Then we discovered the sheet had holes!! On our third day we came back to the room and the bed had not... More

We stayed here as we were visiting the Dolphin Discovery Centre on our way back to Perth. The location was ideal and only 5 minutes away from our destination. The rooms are very basic but we didn't expect much more for the price we paid. The bathroom was clean and the beds were comfortable. The lady on reception was also... More

On a recent visit to Australia, being unable to find accommodation available at the time for less than £200.00 a night at Margret River. We decided to give the Rose Hotel a go booked on line ay £74.00 a night with £6.00 extra for breakfast. On arrival it appeared we had gone back in time, we had as far as... More

Friendly staff, clean and tody room but the bed had springs poking out amd was like laying on concrete. Good proce for the centre of city. Loved the free wifi and aircon was perfect! But didnt appreciate getting woken at 6:30 with the gardens getting watered

Thank you for the 5 nights. Price was very affordable, the staff extremely friendly, the room comfortable and it had easy access to resturants and shopping. We had a wonderful time in Bunbury and would stay here again.
