Stayed here two nights camping. There were no unpowered sites however we were given a powered site at the very reasonable price of $35 per night. This park has everything! Indoor and outdoor swimming pool, spa, gym, games room, tennis court, a well-stocked kitchen... we were very impressed. The park is also very neat and peaceful, situated a short drive... More

We stayed here with two other family groups with children ranging from 8 to 22 years. The two pools were great for all of us and the younger kids loved the water slide. The river was handy for fishing and swimming. Very clean amenities and plenty of hot showers. The green grassed sites were big enough for all of our... More

Warrnambool is lovely, would have loved to stay longer.. The Hopkins River Caravan Park was very neat and quiet, friendly staff, the site was flat and green & plenty of room for our Jayco Camper Trailer & annex, the 2 pools were lovely, the facilities excellent, we even had a lady come and show her Reptiles/Snakes on the Friday.. Very Good caravan park with excellent camp kitchen and games/TV room, this park is kept in very good condition with lawns mowed and all gardens very neat. The common rooms rule of closing at 9pm is a little annoying as this does not even allow you to watch a movie on TV. Staff also could make an effort to smile more

We have spent 2 days in this beautiful park! I wish we had more time here! Excellent spotless modern facilities including a gym! Large grassed sites. We found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. The park is about 8 minutes drive from Warrnambool, a large town with much to see and do and much history! We will be... More

We are caravaners travelling around Australia. We were wonderfully surprised to find a little Gym at the Big4 Hopkins River at Warrnambool. The weather had been wet, windy and did not make walking a very good fitness option. All of these parks have large Games rooms which are often empty but we are hoping access to a small gym will... We stayed in a 2 bedroom, large villa. Really pleased we chose the large (at minimal extra cost) as the extra living area and bathroom space was appreciated. Staff were always friendly and helpful from booking to leaving. The park had lovely wide roads which made it much easier, and safer for our 3 daughters (8, 8 and 5) to... More

We stayed here on a cold night in a two bedroom cabin. Whilst there was an electric blanket and a very noisy heater (that continually heats to temperature and does not turn on and off) the bedding was totally inadequate for how cold it was, as a result really didn't get any sleep at all. Cabin could sleep up to... More

Thank you for your comments regarding our park. We do experience some very cold nights particuarly in May & June and have now installed new electric heaters in our cabins and provided extra blankets. Your stay is important to us all at Hopkins river and we hope you will join us again. More

We recently stayed a couple of nights at this caravan park. It was well situated, the sites were flat and nice spaced. The facilities were close by. My grand daughter particularly loved the pillow trampoline. It has a tennis court and mini golf on site. We found the site to be quite close to town and shops for supplies. The... More

Luckily we spotted the small sign at the turn off on the Princes Highway 5 km east of Warrnumbool. The road then takes you across a railway line and through a farming area and then to the Hopkins River. On arrival we had to leave our vehicle outside the boom gate [ code given on check in]. It was peak... More
