We stayed on the lower level apartment and were broken into. A laptop and camera gear were stolen. No forced entry - it was by someone who had the key! When the police came they said "this place again". Do not risk staying here. They do not have a proper security system and had not changed the locks since the... More

Rooms were clean and well equiped. Very friendly staff who went out of their way. Great location, seconds walk to the Espy and St Kilda Wharf. 3 mins walk to great cafe's and restaurants. Will definately stay again.

After a 24 hr flight from UK, arrived at the apartments at 10pm. Email from head office gave us code number for safe behind reception desk for access to apartment. Safe was not working ( apparently batteries were dead)Lobby was shabby, internal phone was not working, or at least there was no one on the other end to answer it,... More

On arrival we were faced with an un-manned, shabby looking front desk with a dodgy looking phone (which we later found out to be a direct link to their real offices). Our family (2 adults and 3 children (18, 8 and 6) stayed at the Royal Albert Apartments over Christmas last year. St Kilda is a buzzy part of Melbourne with a great choice of restaurants, cafes and pubs. It is not a particularly "smart" but rather cosmopolitan and bohemian area.
