This vile place calles itsself a hotel. Reception is never open, its filthy. I stayed only 2 nights and was severly ill after vacating this hell hole! Stay ona park bench than here. Noisy dirty, small rooms with no air con! ew DONT DO IT more

Agree with several of the reviews below-this place is an insult to anywhere that calls itself a hotel. We had to move room 3 times due to each one having things crawling in the beds and ended up with horrific red and itchy bed bug bites all over us. Staff never apologised and the defiant and unapologetic manager just shrugged... more

i loved the oslo.... you can´t write about something you experienced a couple of years ago! they really worked on it! the bathrooms are the best i had so far! john, the owner, is really helpful, tries to keep the place clean and quiet! i came back 3 times because they have such a nice tv area, couches, a pool... more

oslo hotel is cheap ,there may be nothing fancy about it. but you are paying a great price.The main things is it is clean and comfortable. This is one of the friendliest hostel iv stayed in. Myself and my girlfriend stayed here and the location is brilliant. loads of cafes and well priced restaurants. its the best value youll find in melbourne for this location. i stayed in this " hotel"?!!!?? a few years ago now, but its pretty much what other reviews on here state. its very very basic , dirty accomadation,unhelpful staff full of noisy drunk people showers and toilets filth. This is undoubtedly the most disgusting place a traveller could ever stay in - it is filthy, dingey, stinks of dope, noisy with drunk and stoned morons screaming and shouting until 4am, if they are not busy vomiting all over the place. When I arrived at Melbourn it was the day of the GP. I hadn't arranged accomodation and was panicing.
