We booked online and got a great deal - it was during Melbourne Cup week so didn't really expect to receive the upgrade that was included if available. They did upgrade us to a lovely studio unit, close to everything yet was nice and quiet at night. Good value. more

We are the lat three days of a three week trip in Australia and were finishing up where we started. Since Tiger Woods and Britney Spears were in town rooms were tight. We found the Cosmopolitan available. The rates were great and the location excellent. The hotel is located right off Ackland street in St, Kilda. Right around the corner... more

Great location. SO close to trams, 10min walk to fitzroy st(heaps of restaurants) and close to Acland St. The rooms are good, though the air conditioning isn't the best. Good value with friendly and helpful staff. more

This is my first time staying in Cosmopolitan Hotel. What caught me at first was the location, right smack in the middle of all the hustle and bustle. The negative part about it is that it gets rowdy and loud at night (sometimes to the wee hour of morning) so those with sensitive ears may want to approach with caution.... more

Stayed at the Cosmopolitan for business, admittedly because I got a great rate. $105 including breakfast, parking and free broadband. Looked crappy from the outside but quite a surprise inside. Service from Reception staff was fast and friendly when I arrived, which was appreciated. They got me into my room early which was a bonus. The rooms are funky -... more

My stay at this hotel was better than satisfactory. LOCATION: Admittedly, while arriving by cab late at night, I thought that the area looked a bit dodgy but by light of morning, I found out that I was right in the middle of a funky cafe-set community with access to everything! The location cannot be better. It is right in... more

Excellent hotel in St Kilda. Exudes a casual charm with bubbly front desk receptionist always doing their best to accommodate my requests and travel questions. I didn't get the name of the lady whom helped my room arrangement but she call herself the front desk 'wall fixture' since she's always there late and early to arrive behind the desk. They... more

Hotel is in great location, 2 seconds walk to Acland St. Our Cosmo Terrace room was on the top floor (4th) with views of nearby Luna Park & you could also just see the city from where we were too! Check in was quick and easy. After reading some of the other reviews on here I was a bit worried... more
