This is my first time staying in Cosmopolitan Hotel. What caught me at first was the location, right smack in the middle of all the hustle and bustle. Hotel is in great location, 2 seconds walk to Acland St. Our Cosmo Terrace room was on the top floor (4th) with views of nearby Luna Park & you could also just see the city from where we were too! The secure parking was handy, Complementary 1 free breakfast voucher per night bought the price down to $6.00 each for a continental breakfast. Enough to fill you up for a day of sightseeing. Perfect location, with cafes, shops and trams at doorstep. Clean, modern rooms and great value for money, and another asset to this hotel are the staff, who are friendly and helpful, in particular, Tim on reception who couldnt do enough for us. more

Loved this place. Rooms were big and comfortable. Worth it for the price. Tram 96 gets you to the CBD. Tram 16 brings you to flinders station. But takes abt 15mins. Tim, the morning receptionist is so friendly and welcoming. He was of great help by helping us get our way around the place. St kilda is a nice place... more
