I stay in Gippsland often for work and am familiar with pretty much every hotel, motel and caravan park from Pakenham to Orbost & Lakes. With the singular exception of the Miner's Rest Motel in Wonthaggi, the Hacienda is the worst.

Disgusting smell of stale possum urine throughout the room, dated and worn fittings, heater that thankfully didn't work because it looked like a fire hazard.

If it was considerably cheaper than the other options in Sale it might be an OK deal but it's not. more
