We decided to pack up the kids and caravan and just head some where different - Mildura it was! Was certainly a really fun one week. We got a powered site with an ensuite for our caravan, and the owners were kind enough to place us directly in front of the pool, children's playground and camp kitchen area! So thoughtful!... More

We had a wonderful time spent with family and friends at the Golden River Holiday Park. We stayed a week in the cabins. Days spent by the pool and play ground. The new owners were wonderful and very helpful. Thank you for a great experience of Mildura. We will be back for sure.

As we checked in were were told that the current owners had only taken over in December 2013 and were still working on the park. That was fine - we did not expect too much. We took a powered tent site. We could barely pitch the tent due to compaction of the ground without a weed let alone a blade... More

Thank your for your feedback, all reviews are taken on board for us to continue improving our business. However it was very hurtful for allegations as serious as these to be made against myself. I would just like to point out when your friends first checked in first they requested 2 sites next to each other which was no problem... More

Great value - thanks for the free upgrade! We've stayed in several other Mildura caravan parks - might be fancier but they are noisier!!! Loved our sunset walk along the river!! And the owners were so accommodating of our late arrival too.

Upon arrival, we booked a powered site for camping.. We got allocated a camp spot ( not that you can really call them camp spots because there were only 5-6 and not numbered) and we were put right behind the garbage bin. The sites were tiny and either had no grass or grass that came up to your shins. After... More

Thanks for your feedback we take everything on board, in regards to the bin stations we have relocated 2 of these so they are not in the middle of the park anymore. With Autum upon us now we have started reseeding a large majority of the park in which we hope to have nice green grass through out for all... More

Stayed for 8 nights over xmas holidays. Friendly staff, clean amenities, great playground, wonderful pool area. This park was one of the best we have stayed in. Only 4 ks from town, the park is close enough to town, yet far enough away to enjoy the peace and quiet it has to offer. There is also a handy kiosk, plentiful... More

We stayed her over New Years and it was lovely, Shady park with a great pool and kids playground area. We stayed in an Ensuite site - bathroom etc was good but the site itself is quite small and needed grass. There are new owners however and they mentioned that they were going to try to get the grass going... More

Stayed for two nights at an ensuite site. New owners had only taken over a few days earlier. Reception staff friendly and shop well stocked with essentials. Shady sites. Movie nights were a hit with the kids. Very quiet park. Amenities clean and well maintained. Pool was great. Overall a fantastic stay that was not long enough.

We booked into an en-suite powered campsite. Facilities are great and spotlessly clean. The park is quiet in a beautiful location on the river, surrounded by river red gums and well maintained gardens. We'll stay here again - no worries!

The first thing I noticed about this park was the trees and greenery everywhere, making it look cosy and welcoming. It was a bit of a drive through the outskirts of Mildura but that also was good, it meant it was a long way from the noisy highway, which so often isn't the case. I got there in time to... More
