We stayed in the Cuboodle which was in the basement and felt like it - low headroom and exposed joists. It was comfortable enough though and even had a patio. Cleanliness was an issue. Firstly we had to ask for the toilet to be cleaned - enough said. Then I had to scrub the chairs (birds) and wipe down the... More

Was a little hard to find. But once I did, it was a great spot. Views were amazing and they were very helpful with what was around town and where to go. Room was quaint and inviting. Tub was to die for. Walls were a little thin but that's really fine with me.

We really loved the place, the rooms are huge and very cute / romantic with a spa and candles. Each room has an independent entrance which is very convenient. We also loved that it was pet friendly; our dog loved it. The only negative would have been the christmas lights on (which looked very nice) but it kept us awake... More

We stayed in the Cubboodle room which is under the house. It was a hot summer day and the room was very hot. I think in winter this room would be snug and cosy but in summer it felt small and confined. There was a lot of noise from above us. Cleanliness was an issue for me with the cob... More

Owner Lynne was away so neighbours Mary and Angelo hosted the property in her absence. A fabulously individual and quirky property on several floors overlooking the ocean at Lakes Entrance. Its decor is highly original and the accommodation is spacious and clean. The bed was so comfortable and the breakfast was simply delicious, especially Mary's scones and Angelo's fab hot... More

A lovely quirky b & b. Good for a romantic holiday, with spa and four-poster bed. Hosts are friendly and happy to help. Probably needs a bit of upgrading but the reasonable cost (and the lovely breakfast) made up for the 'tired' decor. The weather was fortunately moderate; if it was hot or cold, the room we had would've needed... More

We stayed there for a few nights. The regular owners were away so this review is based on Mary and Angelo who look after the place. And they are mega! Lovely friendly welcome and a really good breakfast. Which as 50% of the purchase is pretty important and a good man and good stomach etc etc. anyhow it made me... More

Enjoyable 3 night stay. Charming room and decor. Friendly hosts - the neighbour was hosting as owner away - she did an excellent job. Breakfast was great, particularly the scones. Located up a hill about 1km from town to best to have a car. I would stay there again.

My wife and i needed to get away from work for a few days without traveling to far . i booked the Goat and Goose for 3 nights and found the host and accommodation to be what you would expect for a rustic B&B. Lynne was wonderful and very warming and interesting to talk to. Breakfast was a great way... More

It's exactly how it is described. Brakefast was amazing and I would have to highly recommend the Warm Scones! There is a very relaxed homely feel to the place with absolutely lovely owners and a beautiful view of 90 mile beach and the Bass Straight.
