We (myself, husband & son) for 5 days for elder sons wedding. Other family members/friends stayed as well - seperately but together! We stayed in Ocean View. The view from the double bed was unbelievable-open the blinds in the morning and you lie looking out over the Lake watching black swans, pelicans and boats. The location is a little out of town so a car is necessary. The owners & staff were delightful and exceedingly accommodating. If I had to be picky I would say that there is a distinct lack of draw space (ample room at the top of the stairs for a chest of drawers without ruining the room) and hangers but both were quickly remedied. Down on the shore you could borrow canoes or sit in a gazebo and just be peaceful. Some enchanting bird life (blue wren). amongst others. We would definately stay again. more

The seaside town of Lakes Entrance is very nice, what we could see between the raindrops. The B&B is nice from the outside but it is the inside which has the problem. This place is in desperate need of an update which would bring it into the 21st century.
We paid $230 online for the panorama suite which had a lounge room, bathroom and bedroom. All looked out onto the lake and ocean. I think for the price it did not deliever and listed below are some things which need attention.
Television needs to be a bit larger, perhaps plasma
Bathrobes need to be replaced - they were threadbare and in need of repairs
The bed is not king size
Limited amount of toilet products
Outdated magazines - need to be replaced
Overall paint job would not go astray
See through bathroom is very problematic
Basically this place has seen its heyday and needs to be updated.
On the positive were the staff who were very obliging in all aspects. Breakfast very good...
