We were very fortunate to receive a voucher from my sister and brother in law for Christmas. From the beginning Peter and Marie Anne couldn't have been more helpful. From the lovely warm welcome, everything was explained and shown to you, breakfast was divine. Lilly Pilly Cottage was beautiful, immaculate, fresh and comfortable. You can see that Peter and Marie... More

We stayed at Lilly Pilly cottage for one night whilst driving between Melbourne and Sydney in the middle of May. It was a shame we couldn't stay longer. We were met by Marie Anne who had the fire going for us. We had plenty of supplies provided for breakfast, and the cottage was so clean, absolutely spotless. Surroundings are lovely,... More

Thank you for your comments. Lakes Entrance and surrounding East Gippsland has so many natural attractions that you need to stay awhile to really enjoy the experiences. We take pride in the sustainability of our cottages, with the exception of gas for the hot water and cooking, the cottages really are fully sustainable. Hope you come back our way and... More

Glad you enjoyed the alpacas, they really are interesting and intelligent animals. The two new crias (babies) are growing really quickly now. Hope you can stay longer next time to see more of Lakes Entrance and the surrounding area. Thank you for your comments - we appreciate your feedback. More

We stayed in 3 different accommodations during our road trip over the Christmas/New Year's break and this was definitely our favourite! We stayed in the Lilly Pilly cottage for 3 nights and were amazed with the detailing/decorations within the cottage. The cottage was very clean; the bed was very comfortable; the bathroom was very spacious (no bath, but we did... More

We intend that our cottages are fully self contained so that guests generally have everything necessary to prepare, cook and enjoy a meal. Similarly, we like to think that there is enough variation in the breakfast provisions to satisfy most peoples requirements. Our home grown farm fresh eggs seem to be very popular. Its a pity that you missed the... More

We recently stayed in the Boobialla cottage between Xmas and New Years. We have stayed in many B&Bs. Araluen Pak is certainly one of the best. Annie Marie and Peter have done a great job designing and building these environmentally friendly cottages. Boobialla is tastefully decorated. Great attention has been paid to every little detail to make the guests comfortable... More

The cottages are situated to maximise indiviual privacy as well as the peace and quite. Although we are out of town, its close enough for access to shops, restaurants, etc, but far enough away to enjoy the quietness, particularly during the peak holiday periods. Lakes Entrance and the surrounding area has numerous natural attractions to enjoy all year round, many... More

A great way to spend the weekend un-winding. Hosts were very helpful, lovely spacious accommodation on a quiet country property. And if you are into bicycles, plenty of options in the area, whether the Rail-Trail or mountain-biking! Just ask Peter for more info.

My husband and myself from kiwi land would like to express our delight at finding this property in our recent travel of our south bound travel from Sydney to Melbourne. We chose the coast road and find Lakes Entrance Gippsland through the net I had viewed this property and it interested me that much that I had to have us... More

We stayed over the Easter long weekend at Araluen Park and were very happy with the service provided. Make sure you check these guys out if you are travelling through Gippsland.

Having stayed at Araluen Park cottages a couple of times, in both Lilly Pilly and Boobialla cottages (and having had a sneek peek at Lomandra cottage too) it is without reservation that I offer my highest recommendations of this most exquisite accommodation. The situation of the cottages capitalises on nature's best offerings with views of rainforest gullies full of wildlife... More

We have stayed at Lomandra Cottage twice because we were so delighted with it the first time, as soon as we knew we were visiting East Gippsland again the following year, we booked it straight away. There is simply no where else we would rather be. It's very unusual to find such well equipped, thoughtfully and tastefully furnished, comfortable accommodation... More
