Needed to stay in town but as it was Easter not a lot of choice available. the price paid was NOT value for money. Had to manoeuvre the car and a 20 foot van around tight corners then try and reverse into a very small area, only good driver skills allowed for this to happen without hitting fellow campers. The... Agree with Bella20146. This campsite is in the middle of town, so is a great location for caravans and campers. The sites of tiny and cramped together. Parking for our 15ft van was difficult. The camp kitchen is a disgrace. I want to encourage camping and caravan parks centrally located, as it seems more and more of these parks are... More

This park is situated right across from the water. It is well located in the town so you can easily walk to all shops, cafes, restaurants clubs and hotels as well as tourist activities and the surf beach. The staff were friendly and the park has good facilities, clean amenities, bbqs etc. This town is beautiful, and this park is... More

The campsite is in a good location and the amenities are clean but that is where it ends. The sites are tiny even parking a small van is difficult. Camp kitchen is a tiny shed that is very poorly equipped and is right next to the fish cleaning area. There is no shade over the small pool, jumping pillow or... More

Park is in a great location, not far from the beach or town centre. The toilet blocks where very good. They are refurbishing the camp kitchen, so I can't comment on that. Pool and jumping pillow was great for kids. Now to the not so good Sites are very small, we had a noisy group next to us which made... More

Upon arriving at the park, we had a site that was only big enough to reverse our caravan into with much difficulty. Our van is 21foot 6 inches. Our tow vehicle would not fit in front of the caravan and had to be parked under our awning. The roadway in front of the van was only about 8 foot wide... More

Arrived to be told that our booking was for the next day, produced our booking form that they had emailed us with the dates on it. Finally we were allocated a site. All sites are very small with limited access to back your van onto, management did turn up to help us get the van on site. Road access through... More

We stayed for 2 nights at a powered site and found the park was neat and clean. It is a fairly standard caravan park and I would have given 3 stars although I have given 4 due to the great location which is walking distance to shops and waterfront. We found it expensive compared to other caravan parks we have... More

Big4 Holiday Parks are reputed for making their guests have an enjoyable, stress free and relaxing stay. Quite the contrary if you intenf to stay a this park. Please give it a miss. I should have read the reviews before making the booking. The receptionist had an abrupt manner of speaking, arrogant and reluctant to provide information about the park... More
