Nice budget accommodation offering clean & comfy beds, tea/coffee facilities, shower with toiletries, a small pool and a stunning lakes/sea view with amazing sunsets. 90 AUD per 4-pax family room - a great value for money.

Our stay at this motel was by necessity not choice! It was NYE 2013 and vacancies were few and far between and as you can guess quite expensive $200 for 1 night in this rat hole. I booked online as a "last minute" option. Right from the start unfortunately the reception staff seemed overwhelmed and lacked a common understanding of... More

An old style motel set on top of the hill overlooking Lakes Entrance. We stayed in a couples room and it was clean and spacious. The price was very reasonable. Although it is out of town its only two minutes down the hill and worth the exercise. It takes 5 - 10 min to the shops and to main beach.... More

We had a very pleasant, fuss-free stay here. Patrick the host is very considerate and helpful, the rooms are clean and the grounds are tidy & quiet. Great spot for checking out the views! Really conveniently located too - you can't go wrong for the price!

We only stayed one night. At first I was a bit worried because the grounds looked a little unkept. But once we got to our room we had a great view, the room was clean and a really good size. It is a little out of the main part of Lakes Entrance. You can walk down but it is about... More

Only paid $65 for a room, - off the internet, they do have a sign outside saying they have rooms at $69 a night, and it was worth the money. Has a great view, the view is worth the price of the room. Has a Chinese/ Malaysian restuarant, pool and bbq area, has free wi fi. Great short stoppover and... More

We got an excellent deal on this room - so for the $$ it was great! At first the WIFI didn't work for us - but the staff were very helpful and came down to our room to help us out. TV is great size, shower is large. This was just a stop over for us on the way back... More

The wifi was hard to get but it turned out and only one of the two electric blankets worked. But overall the room was clean, the TV works, and it's fine to stay in for the night. It is not motel you would want to stay in forever, but who knows of a motel like that?

Econolodge is exactly what you get. The rooms were ok but there was hair left in the shower from previous guests and their welcome brochure states "Our guests prefer to attend to their own dishes as befits the independent spirit of motel travelers" Well the previous guests didn't attend to their dishes and neither did the cleaning staff, the glasses... The property looks very tired and run down. Our door and windows didn't close properly. There was a great view from the front of our room, unfortunately the local kids thought so also and turned up on masse with tents and vehicles and had a party using the huge sub woofer in one of the cars! All the appliances (hair... More
