We recently stayed at Pomera House over New Year for 4 nights. The house is delightfully restored with many charming aspects and our room was lovely. The owners Lesley and Tony were wonderful. The breakfasts were delicious and Lesley's home made jams were very more-ish and her lemon butter was the best I have ever tasted. Definitely recommend a stay... More

My wife and I recently had the great pleasure of staying at Pomora House and thanks to the wonderful generosity of hosts Lesley and Tony had a fantastic short break just prior to Christmas. Everything was perfect from the beautiful room we had, in what is truly a wonderful, character filled home, to the amazing breakfasts provided by Lesley. And... More

If you are looking for a cosy, charming traditional, old fashioned B&B well look no further. Spotlessly clean bedding, white fluffy towels, this cosy historical house has the lot but, what makes this place special is the passion and dedication of its owners to make guests comfortable. The breakfasts are fantastic. We had bacon, eggs, mushrooms, sausages, tomatoes cooked to... More

Not only did we have our room but the use of a dining room and lounge. Better than a suite in a top hotel. Our hosts were charming and the breakfasts excellent. It is a bit of a treck into town but walking along the shoreline is one of the things to do in Lakes Entrance.

We arrived in the evening and were pleasantly surprised by the lovely house. Tony & Lesley are the most welcoming hosts around. Lesley is a wonderful cook and nothing is too much trouble. They are knowledgeable of the local area and are happy to help with directions and places to visit. We could come and go as we pleased, Lesley... More

We stopped at Pomora House for 1 night between Christmas & New Year en-route from Melbourne to Sydney. Tony & Lesley were fantastic hosts making their lovely bungalow feel like a home away from home. The rooms are very spacious with an old fashioned relaxed feel that has its own external door so you can come & go as you... More

For the first time in many years we will not be able to be with Lesley and Tony for Easter, but will be for the Anzac Day period. They have become friends, and have been so kind to the three of us (me, my wife and my mother-in-law) when we visit Lakes Entrance. It is a beautiful old house on... More

With Kiwi friends Ros and Derek, Rita and John from UK were welcomed unreservedly to Lesley and Tony's charming home. Having travelled for a month now and about to return home, our visit with Lesley and Tony is unanimously our favourite. A wonderful old world charm both house and hosts.

Pomora House is a testimony and a reminder to finer things of yesteryear. It is a pleasant and typically Australian bungalow and extensive in size. It is furnished with old-style comfort and the rooms are ample and well-equipped. There is no internet, which might have spoiled the image, I suppose, but these days it is something of an essential although... More

Unfortunately we were only able to stay for 1 night but Tony and Lesley made our 1 night extremely comfortable and were really welcoming and friendly. Lovely room with en-suite, private access and a very comfortable bed! It's about a 20 minute walk to the shops and restaurants but Tony and Lesley are happy to drop you off and collect... More
