Old decor but very clean. Bathroom had great pressure and heated lamps. Stove/cooktop on gas. Laundry machine on site. Hosts were more than generous; brought in washing when I forgot, prepared food when I worked late. Close to everything. Great for a budget family holiday.

I have stayed at Anchorage Holiday Units twice now and found the accommodation basic but extremely clean and tidy, close to all amenities, close to the beach, across the road for a small supermarket, 50 metres to the beach everything you would want when you don't have a car. It is extremely good value for money and you feel safe... More

The place is clean and functional. Nothing flash. The best part about the units is you need never move the car once you arrive. Close to Main Street (but still quiet), supermarket across the road and the beach access bridge is 2mins away. You can access bathroom from outside which means no sand it unit. Bathroom is big enough for... More

My partner, daughter, dog and I stayed here and all thought the place was great value for money. It was a fantastic price considering there was a child and a dog, the place is 2 blocks from the main strip and jetty to the beach. We chose to stay here orginally as it was pet friendly and so close to... More

Look, it was clean enough I guess and warm enough once we worked out how to use the heater. It was Doggie friendly which we needed. There was a sign up telling us that, if we didn't wash all our dishes, we would be charged an extra $30!! Yuck!!! I want to know that the crockery and cutlery have been... More

This is our first time in lakes entrance. We know here is the best place to catch crab in Victoria, but we have no idea how to catch them. We told by our friends about anchorage, they said that’s the best one in lakes entrance. And also, own by Chinese. We booked there straight away because we are Chinese too.... More

Good place We are lucky because we stayed there on Chinese new year eve. Owner cooked dumpling for all people to celebrate. As return we cooked some pancake for them. Room is tidy and clean, plenty crockery and cutlery. But facilities are quite old and a few water mark on ceiling. We notice that they have plan for the building... More

We are very happy because we found Chinese in Australia. This is a nice place and look after very well by owner. They know we travel from China, so they drive us to beach, shops, takes fish and crab. Cook meal for us, we feel very happy and like our second home, we will tell all our friends if they... More

We were charged $140 per night for a 2 bedroom room, the rooms and the pool were not clean, there were notices in bad English all over the place asking guests to clean the dishes and not to steal coathangers or else they would be charged. A more suitable price based on previous experiences in the area would have been... More
