This motel is located on the Esplanade, walking distance to the beach, sand dune, shops, restaurant and cafes/pub... etc...
i drive from Melbourne to Lakes a few times a year, and for the past few years i've always come back to this motel.. WHY? Location is great, but for the cost compared to many other accommodation in the area.. this is by far the most affordable and the owners - Julie and Darron are just lovely people.
My trips vary each time, sometimes i go with my partner.. just to get away for a few days to rest and relax... other times i come down with a group of people and we'd go fishing for days. It's only 5km from Tambo river and about 40 mins drive to Marlow.
Each time i come back to this motel it's changed, the 2b/rm apartment has been fitted with a LCD tv. i wouldn't recommend this place for honey mooners though... setting in rooms aren't romantic.. some rooms are very tiny... but again, if you're just passing by or getting away for a few days...
