Easily accessed on entry to the city, and only two blocks away from one of the trendiest areas to eat in Geelong. On a main road, though my room at the back did not attract any road noise. Rooms not large but serve their purpose. Well appointed with all the necessities. Spotlessly clean, and the bedding very comfortable. Free WiFi... More

We stayed in a "family" room which was actually a normal sized room with so many beds squeezed in that there was no room to move. There was even a trundle under one bed, but there would have been no room to roll it out. The beds were very old and the bunk beds creaked with every movement. The carpet... More

Stayed here when we needed a bed for the night as we were out and about and gone early the next morning. The room was very basic and tired. Cleanliness was ok. Only updated feature was the reverse cycle aircon which we appreciated as the night was warm and the room poky. Very small bathroom, larger built people would struggle.... More

A basic motel , that owners state is in need of refurbishment . It's a noisy location as its very near junction of main road , so I changed to a rear room. However rooms were clean , beds comfortable and linen and towels spotless. It's close to Budget car hire as I was picking up a car. A short... More

Made a booking end of December, 2014 for 4 of us coming up for the "Cadel Evans Ride" on the 30th Jan. Wasn't impressed when they rang yesterday (3 days before the event!) to say they now don't have a room available for us, as there was a plumbing problem in the room we had booked that needed to be... we stated recently in the family room. The room size for an overnighter was fine. The beds were extremely old and uncomfortable and although advised, the bathrooms were very very old. It was expensive $180, and basic cooking equipment meant a microwave, toaster and kettle. It was centrally located and car parking was good. The breakfast was included, which was... More

Stayed recently in a king room [ renovated ] with a great view of the Bay. Bed is super comfortable and despite being right on Aberdeen St there is remarkably little noise. As advised the bathrooms are a little dated but very clean and serviceable. The rate includes a continental breakfast which is quite satisfying, although since a change of... More

this motel is good value , rooms are clean , adequate breakfast , 15 minute walk to the centre of town , get a front room if you want views over Corio Bay , can be a bit noisy though ,rooms at the back are a lot quieter , definitely would stay here again

Stayed prior to Around the Bay bike ride. the greeting from the front office could not have been better - thank you , Lou - nothing was a trouble. The room - a little small - but clean and just what I needed. As I had a very early morning departure, they organised a breakfast platter into my room -... More

Thank you for your review Pete. We just took over the business 2 weeks ago. Our restaurant does need lots of work and money investment before we can operate it as a quality restaurant. Hopefully after few months hard work, next time when you are here u can enjoy your dinner in here. Looking forwarding to seeing you again. Lou... More

Stayed in a room that was really small also slept on a bed that was hard as a rock, also was freezing cold had no electric blankets or heater. Showers had low pressure that kept going hot and cold. No coffee available only tea , also no hair dryer and other tenants were noisy. Won't be staying here again. Will... More
